Pick up Failures...

This happened to me at the mall a couple weeks ago

So, I am walking with my friend and we are stopped by these guys trying to sell us cell phones. My friend is always interested in a new phone, so we stop... once they figure out I don't want a phone they leave me alone for a little while.. this guy keeps staring at me though. Then he starts talking... "So, do you guys have boyfriends?" and, without thinking it through, I say "no" and he just freezes... he looks at her... then me... then her... I can see the little wheels turning in his head and immediately I start thinking "oh crap." He smiles and says "You guys are way to hot to be single"... and he keeps going on and on about how I don't have a boyfriend but I should have one... I wanted to just walk away... but I didn't want to leave my friend... so I stand their... I keep telling him I am not interested but he keeps trying to tell me why he would be so great for me... he asks me for my name and I am too stupid to lie to him so I tell him and he's like "No way! You're name is ToniRenee'? My name is Rene!" my friend discovers she left her wallet in the car, so we both leave and on our way out he yells "Bye ToniRenee'!" We didn't go back... thank goodness

There was a guy I was talking to on a blog.. he seemed intelligent to talk to so I asked to talk off the blog.. he seemed nice when i talked to him.. I found I would like to try out the Cali waves again.. but then he said ..."Would you mind if I call you b*tch? I hope not, that is what I like to say when I F*ck " .. I was like serious? OMG .. he was.. I was talking about waves and trying to surf again and he .. wow.. was definitely not thinking the same..

Mind you I know I can be a little flirty speaking my mind like i do but I really was talking waves... is there a sexual indowendo that can come from surfing I don't know about?

I never mentioned any of those terms and I never mentioned going to his house to hit the waves.. just simply I would like to ride the waves again. So for those of you who don't know, I've recently taken on a new part time job at United Colours of Benetton, which is an Italian based clothing brand. It's like Lacoste meets Milan meets Hong Kong. They're pretty badassed clothes actually. I would actually wear 95% of the men's line. It's pretty swag.

Anyway, must vent.

Still new at the job so I wasn't sure about the policy on chopping customers until it was too late. Beautiful came walking into the store. Damn. If she was standing next to Glau, I would seriously have had a tough time. I kid you not. She had that pure Filipina beauty to her... a little dark, exotic, with just enough girl-next-door to make her my type... and the eyes. TooBoku like to talk about boobs and butts but he's an eye guy at the end of the day. This is really strange because I don't usually chase Filipina tail. Agh... Anyway, long story short, she was with her parents (they took a while to loosen up. after all, i was the pushy sales guy trying to make them spend money), the store was incredibly busy, and I had the rest of the staff cockblocking me. On top of that, I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to chop customers. Now I'm really kicking myself. Yes yes, it's everyone else's fault but my own. I won't let it happen again. I swear.

I can only hope she comes back to change a size or something. I could have had her. I was just a little slow.
