Yes, and I've been trying to ignore it. 
The only way to stop this new breed of spammer is to restrict new registrations.

Having admins approve accounts have helped WFT greatly w/ the spam situation

Not really b/c all the spammers' email addresses are very similar. You can pretty much tell 
Esp. when it is something like, xxxx@suckme.com
