What are you guys thoughts on warnings as regards the VSFS thread? Sheebshaq was the primary instigator, but he certainly wasn't the only one making personal attacks. But if we warned everyone who made personal attacks (in retaliation, etc.) we'd have to warn like 5 members. Ideas?
I missed that entire bit of drama, I'll need to check the deleted posts first to get a better idea of what transpired...
After reading through that nonsensical pissing match, I say ban the lot of them! 
In all seriousness: raise all of their warning levels and give monsieur Sheepshagger an extra warning trough a PM that we'll ban his ass if he ever pulls anything like that again.
Oh, on a related note, is it just me, or are more and more of our regulars starting to act really annoying? They don't all break the rules, but they tend to flirt with the boundaries quite often.
Perhaps it's just me. I undoubtedly annoyed the hell out of a few people myself, still do even.
Warn all parties involved (Y) If they contributed to the drama they are just as guilty as Shitbag...or whatever his/her name is 
Have you all noticed it is usually Adriana-Freaks who instigate problems? Everytime I go into her subforum I get a headache from all the crap that is in there 
It is to the point where I just want to delete the whole sub-forum and start all-over again...or maybe just get rid of it altogether

I was curious if there is an ignore feature for the forums? I along with several other people have grown more then tired of Sheebshag and his fucking snippy and downright rude comments about everything.
His latest thing is stealing other people's avatars, taking them and openly not giving credit or even giving a shit to ask the person if he could use them.
He's also made several personal attacks yesterday towards others and myself. Solo cleaned up the thread where he was attacking people last night, however he's still annoying as hell, and atm I'm finding it becoming more and more difficult to keep from flaming his fucking ass and getting myself banned for personal attacks.
*sighs*
Is there an ignore feature on the forums so I and others have the choice not to look at his post?

Maybe we should temporarily close theb Adri sub-forum...
1) Since there are so many Adriana fans who repeatedly violate BZ rules, closing the sub-forum is like a mass warning 
2) This would give us an opportunity to clean out some of the junk in there. We could each take 2-3 thread an go through the last 20 pages and edit/delete anything that is irrelevant or violates BZ rules
Just an idea. What do you all think?

If you ask me, this whole thing is F.U.B.A.R. (Fucked Up Beyond All Repair.)
We've managed to produce a website with 15,000 members, a million posts, with some of the best content on the web, that is absolutely worthless. Normally, a 15,000 member website like this should be worth *well* over $100k. Presently, I doubt anyone would buy it for more than a slice of bread.
For instance -- cgtalk.com. Worth almost $1m. And yet their traffic rankings are *way* lower than ours. I'm not criticizing anyone personally, but this operation has been dreadfully mismanaged. I seriously believe the best way to go is a complete new start, to make a website that people can really be proud of. Because right now it feels like a jumbled mess of staff, members, and posts, very unpolished, almost shoddy.
We need a new start on bellazon.com. Perhaps a new domain even. At the very least, a completely new feel. Indeed. TheFashionSpot is unprofessional, and has glaring areas which could be improved upon, and has fewer members* and less content**. Yet it's traffic ranking is somewhat higher, and it's market value is astronomically higher. Why? We have the potential but we're not capitalizing on it. Seriously, we've been open over three years and we are using the default IPB theme. That's not important of itself, but it represents the whole point. Neglected. We don't even have our own look. That is pathetic. Worse than pathetic, lamentable.
If that makes me unpopular, OK, but that's my opinion.

most the content here is taken from tFS. They have

just *slightly* higher then our
1,024,509 posts, 13,905 members
Also, the target audience and the members at tFS is also a bit different than our's 
Edit: I think most of the issues come from the Adri subforum and the few members who like to instigate fights and start BS threads. It is kinda interesting how most of these troublemakers are Adri fans 
I'm referring to our area of focus. The vast majority of the posts and members of TFS are in design/fashion areas, but the celebrity/photos section is smaller.
By the way, I don't want to come across as angry or mad at anyone... I'm not at all. I just think we need a completely new direction.

I don't measure the worth of Bellazon by it's monetary value or what skin we use. I'd much rather spend my time on here than on an elitist forum like tFS. The fact that we're nothing like them is more to our credit than anything else, imho. We have nothing to gain by emulating them. A lot of their members seem to have nothing but disdain for this place anyway.
And please tell us, in what way has this forum been mismanaged? If you're not criticizing anyone specifically, you are criticizing the staff as a whole, so please, be specific, what have we done that has turned this place into the mess it is today?
If you're serious about the reboot idea, it'll be without me. I know very few people will care about that on BZ, but I'm not going to invest my time and effort in something built upon the grave of BZ.

there aint no way we starting over here. Spark if you are so unhappy with what we have here and the direction were going, whats stopping you from creating a new website on your own that your happy with?
I am not meaning to delete all the members and posts, I mean set up a new 'site' -- new code base, new forum installation, then selectively transfer most of the posts, and all of the members, into a real custom-coded website, with custom look and feel, and a system code to be able to view the forums in galleries, news sections, a wider focus (than just supermodels), and other things. Make it a real self-identified website, not just a domain name, an IPB installation and a bunch of posts.
By the way, MadDog, you speak as if this site is your site, which is bullshit. I started this site, on my own servers, with my own domain name, with my own choice of moderators. You offered to provide free hosting, we took you up on it, and when I left for a while, I asked Neo to give you and RoninGrave admin powers. You returned the favor by firing him, and now you imply that I should go and set up my own website, merely because I am displeased with the current state of the site. Even if you have the practical rights over the domain name and hosting, which you do, you do not have the moral rights.
I made this website, and made you an admin ,and now you (politely) tell me to fuck off, after having fired the other guy who created the site, simply because I call for a major change? Rather dishonorable, don't you think?
Oh, and about shutting the Lima subforum... wow. Is that really necessary?
I speak of this site as "our" site(all the staff). It is a democracy and always has been and hopefully always will be. The decision to fire neo was a group vote not me, if anything i imposed my will for a long time to keep him here.
