And now you are focusing on a side issue. Why I want all the admins to have access is a side-issue. The real point is a very simple question: name one good reason why James, and James alone, should have access to all of the main website accounts? I'd like to know a single good reason.

And all the admins deserve this access. Indeed, until sometime in 2005 when MadDog took exlusive control, all the admins did have this access. Why was it taken away? Not just from me because of my absence, but from Ronin and Capt Snow. Why is that? And name one good reason why we cannot have it back.

James is not superior to any of the other Admins. Then why, for God's sake, does he prevent other Admins from accessing several of the most important Admin pages/accounts? You guys keep looking at Neo and at prospective changes to the forum, which is an aside. The question is why does James restirct access to these accounts to the other admins when he is not, in any way, superior to them?

Aren't chairman and founder somewhat different concepts though? I mean, a chairman isn't always necessarily the founder of a company is he? I suppose you could argue that a founder is not obligated to remain on board either, which is true. You're right. I guess my real issue then is that you were gone for 2+ years, made a sudden return, only to be re-appointed as admin. If the founder of a company stepped down with no set date for return, would he immediately be given his job back complete with privileges and benefits? When you left, what exactly did you say? Did you give a date when you'd be coming back? (I'm asking genuinely here not trying to make a snide remark). Did everyone know what was going on? It seemed like you'd just disappeared and no one seemed to know the whole story of what had happened to you or when you'd be coming back. I don't know but this just doesn't seem right to me.

If this means we're slowly sliding back to the pre-september '06 situation again, I'm not sure I still want to be a part of this either...

Perhaps we can just skip the next few steps and get rid of everyone who disagrees with Solo all at once. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding suitable staff members who will indulge your every whim. I'm not one of them, though.

It's about more than just that, and you know it. You employ a condescending tone towards the people who have maintained this site in your absence because they don't see things your way. Basically, in your eyes, you either see things your way, or you're wrong. The fact that you still believe your version of the Neo debacle is the only accurate one after all of us have spent eons of time trying to explain the situation to you tells volumes.

If you want my opinion, you'll only be content once BZ looks they way you want it to look and is populated exclusively by people you like and see things your way. I have no desire to be part of a staff where having a dissenting opinion continually gets you snide remarks and attacks. And regardless what you may claim, it's fairly clear you're still not over the fact that we voted TWICE against re-instating Neo as a mod. My theory? You want to slowly eat away at the people who disagree with you until they tire enough of the endless arguments they either agree to do things your way or quit the staff altogether. Both of which would suit you just fine.

Had this been a few years ago, I would have remained on the staff just to spite you, but I've grown up a lot since then and I don't want to devote my free time to such negativity. If you really want to take us back to where we were before September 2006, by all means. But it will be without me. I know you probably don't care a lot about that, but so be it. It's been a good day for you, you got rid of two dissenting voices on the staff.

To the rest of the staff:

I really enjoyed working with you and I'm glad you decided to give me the chance to become a moderator and contribute to BZ in a positive way. I know I probably didn't do a great job every day, but I always tried to be as fair as possible with everyone. You're a good bunch of people and I know all of you really care about the quality of this forum, regardless of what other people might think or claim. I know not all of us know each other all that well except for our dealings in the staff area, but I've always respected your opinions and contributions and I think most of you respected mine.

I would especially like to thank Pinky, who suggested me as a possible mod to the rest of the staff and to whom I owe my current modship. I'm grateful that you gave me the opportunity to be part of the inner workings and background affairs of BZ. It's been a meaningful experience, mostly because I now understand this community much better than I did before.

Anyways, accept this message as my official resignation as a staff member. Unlike Nicole, I'm not quitting BZ altogether, but since several of you hardly ever post outside the staff area, this will probably be the last time we interact. Au revoir.

Very well, I wanted to have a vote before he was reinstated as an admin, but since it happened without noticed we didnt get a chance. So lets have a vote then. He has temporarily been put as a member and once the vote is over, depending on the outcome will be reinstated.
