I'll look into it some more. I think at one point I had a script that automatically did face detection and chose that for the thumbnail. I will see if I can find that old script. 

Something that may or may not be related to an issue raised by @Clauds a few months ago, I have a member who says they recently attempted to update their email address, but either their account or email are being blocked by an anti-spam filter. Just wondering if that's something I can authorise via the Admin CP?

I dont see any email issues with that person. Usually it tells you in the AdminCP if they have been bouncing emails.

I must confess that when I checked AdminCP I really couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, however the member says he's been unable to post on the forum for some time as a result, despite having changed his email address when prompted.

I'll tag you in our initial conversations if that's alright, the thought occurs that some of it might make more sense to you than it does me.

I'm getting a big pop-up ad whenever I log onto the forum in the last few days. One which seems to slow down the loading of the pages considerably.

I’m not getting any pop up ads on my computer because I have an ad blocker on. But on the mobile site it’s ad overload. On the top of the screen, bottom of the screen and in some cases between each post. It’s insane.

Didn't get the big pop-up today!

Definitely a lot better. I’m not scrolling through a million ads on my phone anymore. 

Just had it again. This is the ad I get. It usually takes 5-6 seconds before I can click away and then properly load the forum.

Had a complaint about slow page loads. I have had them too but initially thought they weren't linked to BZ specifically.

Not for me, no. Haven't heard any other recent complaints.

I'm getting this message again, and I am definitely getting emails/notifications from BZ. Not sure what is going on @maddog107

I dont really understand how this mail thing works, but I see that it started last thursday.

Yup, everything is fine on my end. I haven't changed anything in that account literally in years
