Can we just remove the hotlink rule People really need to learn to disable it themselves if they dont want it hotlinked...

I don't think members can disable the "Image" button b/c it is an option we have available to them although currently our rules indicate hotlinking is not allowed. Hence the confusion.

Anyways I dont think I can modify the editor as its a 3rd party plug in that IPB uses, Ill look but I think its not easy to edit.

BZ is a democracy not a dictatorship , I personally dont like that rule, not only because most of you guys spend 99% of your time converting hotlinks to text links and I still think it should be the owners problem not ours that they allow hotlinking.

But if you guys like the rule and the work then its fine with me

I am ok w/ whatever the majority of you decide.

But keep in mind websites sometimes move their pictures or change their link formats (such as pinterests, twitter, and some clothing sites). We might end up w/ empty posts down the future if hotlinking is allowed.

I am working on fixing that, trying to design something that will automagically copy images over to BZ when posted.

Its been resolved.

Since the update, I can't link to a single post anymore In the past when I clicked on the post number it would bring me to a page with the post on top. Now it brings me to the first post of the thread

hmm, let me look into it tomorrow. 

^ Also, some of the Topic Moderation options are gone Before when you checked-off the upper right box of a post, a moderation window would pop-up on the bottom right of the screen with a drop-own menu that has mod options. The window still pops-up but the drop-down menu is empty!

EDIT: Wit the exception of delete & edit, we cannot perform any other mod task on individual posts b/c they are no longer available!!!
