thats cuz he likes petra and he is just trying it out....right now we are going through colors that will look good for tweaking the skins and make it more bellazon looking and not so IPB looking.

and removing all the other skins.

It's not impossible to just leave this skin there, and then set the default for everyone else to whatever you guys seem to be planning. It can be changed without forcing everyone to use the new skin.

well we are going to keep it very neutral...well darker than the white of default cuz its murder man the look will look like the default look....just darker colors and the little ipb square will say BZ

So what is the problem with leaving the extra skins or this charcoal skin in particular behind? If we are going to force everyone to use the "new default", then what would be the problem with leaving the other skins behind?

Now I'm all for a new skin that should be our default, so that it's not just old ipb default, but I still don't see the reason for completely getting rid of all of the old skins. People use those other skins too, and it won't make people happy that they are forced to use something else.

i guess we can remove all the other ones and keep the similar looking ones....3 of them are similar to the default and the default is going to be tweaked.

I don't see the reasoning behind removing all the other skins, and leaving ones that are going to be similar to the new default. You would think we would leave ones, that aren't similar to the default, so that people could have a variety of choices, not just the same default skin different color.

You're talking about removing skins people use, but still letting them choose their skin, but only give them skins that look exactly like the default skin except different color.

Why remove any skins, it's just as easy to still allow people to choose what they want out of the available skins, add the new one you guys have in mind, make it the default, everyone who joins from now on, or has there skin set to default will be using that new skin, and then the people who use the other existing skins currently, won't be pissed that they have to choose from 1 of three skins, that are identical besides color.

If they wan't to use the other old skins and not the new default, they will just have to be content with the fact that there is no banner, or the other effects implemented with the new skin.

my reasoning behind it is that that way people dont face the problems like certain people do with tower or with trenzy and the portal u kno wat i mean

Like I said, what is the harm in allowing the people who use the other skins, to continue using them if they choose? They will just have to deal with the problems if they don't feel like using the default. I mean the ones that have the major problems could be removed, because most people would realize the problems and not use them. But the others, I see no need to remove.

What you guys are suggesting is that we remove all the skins except the new default, and tell everyone that if they don't like it, well oh well. Where as you could simply leave the current skins, make your new one the default, still allow people to select whatever skin they choose. I don't know how much simpler I can put it.

It harms no one to continue to allow people to choose from the skins we have. If they choose the new default, great, but at least allow them to keep the choice. They will just have to get used to the fact, as I said above, that the only skin supported, in terms of the portal, and the banner, and such, will be the new default. Personally, I don't use the portal, nor do I care that my current skin doesn't say Bellazon at the top. I know there are a few other people who use different skins, and I'm sure they would appreciate being left the choice whether or not to change to this new default.

Nothing would change from your original plan, besides leaving the skins. Your new skin would still be the default, which everyone who wants to could use, as well as being the first skin a new member would see. I guess I don't see what you guys hope to gain by chucking out these other skins.
