hey i wondered... when did you become a mod and for which reasons ?

I became a mod at the beginning of May, so I wasn't too long around... I spotted some posts which required editing (like text-linking images which were too big) and the admins agreed to make me a mod...

What, do you want to become one?

lol there are some big pix which are not text-linked and i saw at least one sig which was way too big seems that you mods didn't notice that stuff

Since i won't go to uni until next october i have plenty of free-time and i come on here a lot so i think that could be good if i were a mod but i daren't ask cuz they're gonna be like "u've only been on here for a few days" lol... And i don't wanna look like i want the power or anything, i just think it's a cool place and i'd be glad to help but there are certainly some ppl who were here before me and who certainly deserve more to be mods lol

I think we have it under control. We're a little lacking because Nicole is sick right now but things won't be a problem once she gets back. That's my opinion though.

Julia (Adrifan) added me to her MSN and PMed me...kind of a brave thing to do, IMO. Figured I'd just post the conv. for you guys to see and let you mull it over. I know what you're going to say initially, but considering she had choices on how to approach the situation (and she didn't have to at all, she could have tried to sneak) I figured she seems like a fairly reasonable person, albeit emotional and passionate like some other people I know.

My answer is no. She only wants to come back here because Chloee is banned at WFT and she doesn't have anymore ass to kiss over there. Chances are she wouldn't have asked if Chloee was still around.

Seems like all the crap I do in the admin panel never gets counted as "admin tasks" (like working on code or clocks) and any bit of modish-type things i do doesn't get counted either (like editing posts).

It is kind of strange that it only logs certain actions when your working in there or moderating. *shrug*

I'm gonna say no on the Adrifan thing. She's banned, she screwed up twice, there's no reason to think she won't continue to do it if we let her come back. She attacks another member, I don't care if she didn't read the rules, 99% of the forum manages to not break them having not read them once, what was her problem? Plenty of people have been duped by Chloee, yet they can hold their composure.

lol, i thought the same thing when she said that, but I let it slide and chalked it up to her age. No biggie. I'll just let her know she needs to find another forum.

I'm not getting any notifications for anything off the board and neither is avada. :yuckky:

I set the default for that "off". You have to change your "Email Settings" and choose the type of notification you want.

...ok, wait...so maybe that won't work...doesn't seem it's letting me get them either. weird. something else must be wrong then. Tell me, when did they stop coming?

Well I didn't get a notification for thingummybob's post in my thread so before then probably. I don't know an exact time.

...ok, i looked....basically you havent been receiving them ALL year!!! This sounds fishy :trout: It might be server related so James is going to have to look into it. Nothing has been changed on the board relating to notifications exept for what I did a month ago.
