Enough about me, what do YOU think of me?

Well probabaly want to list some stats, like 3TB of traffic and 147million hits, to get peopels attention would proababaly be a good start.

And i have considered google adds, but how do other people feel bout ads, i personaly hate resorting to them cuz they make a website feel less professional but tahts just me.

We'll make the post, giving stats like you said. And we'll keep that up at all times but make the google ads temporary (we'll make mention that they will be). If anything we can get people to actually click on them if they know it'll help.

Ads aren't unprofessional, as long as they are done tastefully and sparingly. So if we were to but one small strip of them near the top, it would look weird at first, but soon everyone would forget they were there. Google ads are targetted so they would have some decent content.

Maybe we can offer up some thing to those who do donate? Not sure what but it's worth a shot. Shit, I know. Donate like.. 30 bucks and be a mod for a day.

The ads they used to have running near the banner at WFT were uber-fucking annoying (not to the point where it would drive someone away I don't think though), as I am one of the people who always clicks the banner to get back to the index, and every other time I'll click those damn ads, so I would say putting them right there is quite effective as Jimmy mentioned. Personally I have no opinion on whether or not they make the site look less professional, but I can see what you mean.

People being able to see the traffic this place does would definitely open some eyes I would think, maybe make them more likely to see why they should donate.

The reason I am suggesting ads more than donations is because of the audience here. SO many visitors, so few members out of school or with jobs that allow them discretionary income. Lots of visitos that click around though.

I have a Victoria Secret Sexy book (actualy 3+ DVD) which i guess we could have a raffle at the end that anyone who donated could win it. What ya think? it cost me like 200 bucks

And Jimmy makes a good point about there being lots of clickers, with less than substantial incomes like me.

I'd probably be able to donate about 50 bucks, probably more. Only problem is as far as donations go, I'd have to do it through money order or something since I don't have paypal.

Oh yeah, I could definitely afford a buck, I'm sure most people can as well, and hopefully they will be willing.

Maybe it would be wise to include some kind of donation bar, as to how much has been donated so far? Though if a lot of people donate and the bar reflects that, it might turn people off if a lot has been donated already.

There is not a need in the sense that if i dont have x amount tommorow BZ is going to close. I just want to take off some of the financial burden off of me since all this comes out of my pocket, as well as my associates are always trying to close BZ and i dont let them, cuz this site isnt making a penny, compared to other sites like umodela which do make an income to pay for themselves.

You have a paypal account already set up for donations? It would be good to have an address that sounds bellazonish for people to donate to on Paypal...not just to your personal one. Such as donations@bellazon.com
