Playboy is classified as softcore porn I think, some people try and call it "Art", but just because it's the "classiest" softcore porn mag, and it has been around for like 10,000 years, doesn't mean it's not still porn.

There's a reason it's at the back of the top shelf at your local bookstore. Because it's porn.

I fear great repercussions if it were to be posted, especially by the staff. I mean, the next time someone comes in and posts hardcore bdsm midget porn, thier gonna throw this back in our face. "But someone from the staff posted something similar, why am I getting in trouble?"

I think someone posted a playboy spread recently or linked to it, but I can't be sure. Either way they are usually pretty tasteless, and if someone really wants to see them, let 'em surf porn on some other site.

Personally though, I just skip over that stuff, so it wouldn't bother me either way.

there are two shots in the editorial that are risky and i wouldnt have scanned those shots. the other shots werent that bad...and i didnt want to mess up my playboy. if jimmy wants to scan them its fine but i wont.

The definition of porn is the "representation" of the human body or of human sexual behaviour when they're aiming for sexual arousal. Porn is different from erotica though sometimes they're used together to mean the same thing. Porn can be written or spoken text, photos, sculpture, drawings, animation, moving images, and even sounds.

Like when the government (I think? I can't rememebr the specifics) went after VS a few years ago for basically being softcore porn instead of tasteful advertising.

Softcore is simulated and hardcore is actually seeing it. And from what I've heard, playboy is classified as softcore porn. So it doesn't matter if they're "not that bad", it's still porn.

Here's a dumb fucking question, let's see if anyone can answer it.

I argue with Dream Angel about Jennifer Aniston in Angelina's thread. Jimmy Changa sees it, says one thing that I already covered, and does nothing to stop it.

I, along with a few others, argue with Greedy Grandpa in Adrienne Curry's thread about porn and boom he's right there to stop it.

Why, in God's name, does this happen? My guess is that because oh my god, naked chick LOLOLOLOLOLZ! He was going to be one that possibly scanned the magazine in the first fucking place so maybe that's why? I'm so fucking sick and so fucking tired of people stopping one thing but not another because arguement 1 bugs them but arguement 2 doesn't. IT'S STILL AN ARGUEMENT. DO YOUR FUCKING JOB AND STOP THEM BOTH.

If the rules we have are such a pain to enforce, maybe new ones should be written that people aren't going to shuffle their feet about.
