seems like *addicted* is advertising in PM's again....a member told me today....we have warned her 4 times...any one else getting tired of it....

spark and i warned her many times....we said no advertising in PM's but you can in a thread if you create it...yet she is still advertising.

well than disable the posting ability of her for 1-2 days.... Btw Isn't she already made a thread?

We need to set some standard for signature images. I don't care if they're hosted somewhere else, 2mb of running gifs ten times on a single page lags the shit out of my computer, and I highly doubt I'm the only one this is happening to. That's a ton of loading for a single page.

I shouldn't have to go lo-fi just so my computer doesn't explode because people want to use an exorbitant amount of gifs in their signatures.

neo, you have warned her plenty of times. Does she think that there is no need to listen to the Administration? I believe Spark wrote in the rules "An Admin's word is final".

She doesn't contribute anything, and she only advertises her forum, and has not listened when an Admin has politely requested that she refrain, more than once.

I don't think neo's being rash at all. What exactly would be the downside of suspending her account? Members wouldn't get random PM's trying to pull them away from this forum. Not too much of a downside.

Also there is an option to turn off her ability to send private messages I believe, that could be some sort of solution.

Warn her one more time, that if she sends anymore PM's that are explicitly inviting someone to her forum that there will be consequences.

If you hear about people recieving more PM's from her regarding joining her forum, suspend her account. You have to draw the line somewhere.

I mean what's wrong with putting it in her signature like some other members do. You even allowed her to make herself a thread. That should have been enough. I mean she could bump it every now and then to get it back to relevancy.

You told her to do one thing, she did another. That shouldn't come without some sort of warning at least.

Who do you know of that she has sent invitations to recently? Because if the users don't want to recieve her solicitous PM's then that gives even more reason to take some sort of action.
