I haven't had any in-grown hairs since I started waxing.

does your hair have to be a certain length? I was thinking of waxing myself, but I just shaved yesterday, so would that even work?

Wax all things, eyebrows, down below, legs and under arms. Hair bad!

had my legs done for the first time today, and I had to grit my teeth, but it really wasn't that bad.

yeah, it's really not so bad ... I can bare doing parts of my legs by myself. It's just that it's a lot faster and easier when someone else has to do all the reaching.

in 2 weeks I am going to have the rest of my legs done (some of the hair wasn't long enough yet), my arms, armpits, and also a Brazilian...

woooah, I cannot imagine to be waxed down below or the armpits That must be the most painful thing And then I rather shave :|

I hate shaving, the next morning it's all stubbly! and it hurts to shave stubble...the arm pits will only take a second, and the embarassment worries me more than the pain of a Brazilian...

Honestly for me, threading doesn't really hurt, except when they pull on my eyelids, OUCH. I start tearing... But come on, do you really expect it to be painless when they're pulling the stray hair from the root? It stings just a little bit, because the thread twists around your hair, but you get used to it after awhile. No pain no gain right? :| And the after effects are SO WORTH IT. Your eye area looks so clean. Waxing doesn't get every single hair removed. Also, it's not very good for your hair follicles.

plucking sucks... waxing is one of the best ... never tried threading though...

waxing: I think it doesn't hurt at all! I actually like it hahaha... hair is bad yeah..

shaving my armpits is so darn painfull... besides, my hair grows kind a fast so,

when I shave it in the morning you can see hair in the evening

wouldn't laser be a good idea?

I have never waxed before. I really want to try it for the following reasons. The skin on my armpits is so sensitive. I have tried venus, shick quatro, gillete for women, march 3 turbo razors. I have tried every kind of shave gel out there even the ones for sensitive skin and still whenever I shave my armpits the skin is so irritated and itchy and it hurts. Im sick of shaving my bikini area because of red itchy anoying bumps and on the legs it grows back by the end of the day so I have to keep shaving over and over. Im sick of shaving. But there are 2 things that are holding me back from waxing.

1. My friend went to get her upper lip waxed for the first time. Part of the skin was ripped off and she had this painful ugly scab on her upper lip. My skin is very sensitive. I would hate it if any skin on my armpits, south of the border or anywhere else is ripped off.

2nd. The pain of course and the fact that I would have to find a good salon to do it.

So nyone who has ever had their armpits waxed. How bad does it hurt. I think I could handle the legs ok but the rest is what's worrying me.
