My waxer told me that a lot of women have less hair on their upper thighs due to wearing tight fitting pants/jeans ( and pants/jeans tend to be the tightest around a woman's thigh area and then get more loose around the calves ). This is true for me, at least, because I can go four to seven days without shaving my thighs versus having to shave my calves every two to three days.

The hair on my thighs hasn't stopped growing, but it comes in very fine and takes longer to grow.

I just caught wind of this. I must say... I like the idea.

I know my sisters really have fun waxing, plucking, and shaving... a lot of fun... that's sarcasm by the way...

Perhaps it would be just plain faster and cheaper to get one of these.

I think they're all the same...and that lie "hair skin up to 4 weeks" says mine too but it doesn't work

I have something very similar. It still takes a hell of a long time and it's easy to miss hairs. I also agree that the hairlessness lasts nowhere near up to 4 weeks. It still leaves your pores all red afterwards for a whole day, too. It is definitely less messier than waxing and maybe a little quicker, but, as with most hair removal methods, it isn't perfect.

lol. Thanks for the input!

One of my friends was like showing it off to me and she was soooo proud of it and all. I was just wondering if it was worth it to give them to my sisters as a Christmas gifts.

The first time, yes. Though as you continue waxing the hairs come out easier and then it does not hurt as much.

Waxing: hurts like a mother

Shaving: Is less painful, unless your clumsy as I am..

Plucking: Arghh.. is annoying!!

But for my own advice I always wax, its pain at once!!

If you can afford laser, it eliminates the wole problem of unwanted hair and putting wax or a shaver in sensitive places. A nick in the under arm can be torchure if it gets caught by a bra.

you should wax during or just before your period because your nerves are extra sensitive I learned it in elle magazine

and it's a misconception that shaving makes ur hair grow in thicker... it's just because you are shaving it off until the root and that is where the strand of hair is the thickest so when it grows out - you see the blunt end of what started at the root. waxing is still better

I prefer to wax, but it's awful expensive. Lately I've been shaving but using a special rash-free cream. It's much cheaper and painless.

Just got waxed today! And it didn't hurt as bad as last time! I took 2 Excedrin about 45 minutes before my waxing and I think that helped. I love being hairless down there!

I get my eyebrows waxed because they do a great job, and it takes longer for my hair to grow in. Plucking hurts!

Eyebrows - Plucking, but I don't do it often cause they are not that thick

Legs - Epilating, doesn't really hurt

and a complete brazilian wax down there, I even do it myself and it's ok
