hey,just wonder how many images can I post in one post ???
cuz when I posted the codes,didn't let me to post all of them cuz there were many pics,and what is the limit for one post ???
Just wondering... has the "misplaced threads" topic been forgotten? 
...and, don't know if it's just me, but the site seems awfully slow today 
I have just one question - which are the resolutions now for avatar and signature?
Currently, the avatar limit is 150 x 150 px, and signatures are 600 x 140 px with 3 lines of text.

Anyways I have some new SSD's coming today which I will be putting the DB on and then I will finish setting up Varnish. Should be faster when I get around to those two things this weekend. I will let you know once its complete.

What exactly is slow, I have been using it all morning and it seems *ok*. Not unbearable or anything.

Anyways once we get the SSD's I think itll be a lot better. And once I get varnish it will be better still (since all guests will no longer hit the DB

Threads are taking anywhere from 5-25 secs to open (normally it's instant for me regardless of the amount of people on), pictures and even thumbnails are taking an extra 4-10 seconds longer then they should, gifs/sigs sometimes take almost a min to load (not just the motion ones either) ,<--- As I'm typing this your Stammy avatar won't load more then half way.
I just ran speed tests to servers across the US and on average I'm getting 34.66 Mbps download 4.52 Mbps upload ( I'm sitting on the first node) with a 20 - 47 ping
I've cleared my cache, restarted the pc, cleaned temp files/cookies and this pc is 3 weeks old so I dunno. 
BZ just seems clunky and slow lately and I've never had this issue in 6 years, not even at it's busiest times.
It's bearable though. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention in case anyone else was having the issue. 
The issue I've been having is pages are taking a loooong time to fully load and sometimes they don't load at all until I hit 'refresh' a couple times
^ That's been happening to me as well. Sometimes I have to hit refresh 3 times just to get BZ to open in the first place.

On the photo editor it says 200 px or larger
^ 200 px is the default size the system set. The 150 px is still the rule. Although with the new auto-resize function we might need to revisit the rule.
^There doesn't actually seem to be a restriction on avatar height at the moment - whatever image you upload/import will display at max 150px width though.
I just tried a 50x600 avatar and it displayed at full size
^ The new system does not seem to take into account the height of member's personal image. However with the auto-resize function it should resize a large picture according. When you right click to view the image it should be full size.

I played around with the setting a bit and I think I got it working better now. It should reduce the size automagically to 150x150 so that users dont have to download the full size image. But you can still upload a large image and it will auto shrink down.
