Hi everyone,

I noticed that when I try to search for a term (search in "Forums" - display results "as posts" - sorting "Last Update Time"), results are not in descending order but in casual order (so it appears to me...) and they're listed by topic...all the posts with that term in a topic, then all the posts with the same term in another topic and so on.

I tried searching for photographers name...i.e., Terry Richardson...and the result is a list of posts from Natasha Poly's topic from 2012 to 2008 in the 1st page, then again Natasha Poly from 2011 to 2010 in 2nd, then Doutzen Kroes from 2010 to 2009, then Daria Werbowy from 2011 to 2007, with some random addiction of Natasha.

I cannot click on my messages...or my friend list or sign out...none of the buttons at the top right are working...

When we get the new layout will the fonts go back to how they were? If that makes sense. Like now, certain symbols don't show correctly, and font that was once just slightly smaller is now un-readable.

huh? can you please post a screenshot or something. The font's seem fine to me. And what symbols in particular?

Have you tried to refresh the page? Perhaps CTRL + F5 to do a fresh get of everything?

Sure, I'll find you an example for the font if I can, I know I edited some of my posts from where I used to have [size = 1] [ / size] which used to be readable on the old BZ, but now it's like this ----- > TextHere.

And symbols, like the French 'e' and Danish 'O'. And also various symbols from websites like messletters, no longer show.

Also, I agree that BZ is running slightly slow and not loading thumbnails, etc.

there's said that the pic that I upload as attachment can be maximum 1 GB but it doesn't work I got pics more than 10-12 MB and when I try to upload there were written that no image were marked to upload what am I supposed to do ?? none image uploaders upload such huge pics and I don't want to resize them

Threads are taking anywhere from 5-25 secs to open (normally it's instant for me regardless of the amount of people on), pictures and even thumbnails are taking an extra 4-10 seconds longer then they should, gifs/sigs sometimes take almost a min to load (not just the motion ones either) ,<--- As I'm typing this your Stammy avatar won't load more then half way.

I just ran speed tests to servers across the US and on average I'm getting 34.66 Mbps download 4.52 Mbps upload ( I'm sitting on the first node) with a 20 - 47 ping

I've cleared my cache, restarted the pc, cleaned temp files/cookies and this pc is 3 weeks old so I dunno.

BZ just seems clunky and slow lately and I've never had this issue in 6 years, not even at it's busiest times.

It's bearable though. Just thought I'd bring it to your attention in case anyone else was having the issue.

BZ has been depressingly slow latey. Right now, I'm using a slow Internet connection and it's taking me forever to open a single thread/topic. And i'm using the same internet to browse another fashion forum, and it's working fine there.I think that to make things better, we need to stop using those pictures (I don't even know how it's called) that everyone has which appears under every post a member makes. I don't get it, and I think it's contributing to the slowness of the site.We shouldn't also be allowed to quote picture. They makes pages even slower. Quoting a picture is basically posting the same picture u quoted all over again.

What are the dimensions (pixels) of the images you are trying to upload?

they are around 2976x4388,but now I've already resized them under 10 MB

^ I remember having a similar problem on the old board and MD was able to resolve it. Let's wait for him to work his magic again

The software did that. I am working on getting a resolution in place. (this issue has been brought up multiple times in this thread)

Link plz? And those images are not on BZ so nothing I can do to make them load faster but maybe its a setting only allowing X thumbnails per posts. If you send me the link I will take another look.

You can disable Signatures and Avatars if you wish. Click on your name at the top right of BZ then click on "My Settings" and then "Ignore Preferences" . Then you can do

Ignore all avatars

Ignore all signatures when reading topics

Click save and that it
