^ Ah, some nice relief there from the temps then I was overhearing on the TV that some regions in your country were hitting 48 C That truly is something not to bear thinking about as u noted above. I can cook my breakfast on the hood of my car with that kind of heat. Mmmm hood platter

Oh, and since I can't keep off Simcity updates here, I bought over a game preview shot that tickled me funny. The real world might have Victoria's Secret but in Simcity we have Tammy's Secret :brows:

Not that I'm an expert ( ), but doesn't this shot reek of an early 80's "soft-core" video cover that you'd furtively glance at Blockbusters as a kid but not really understand why it made you feel funny?

Really, it should be called Sylvia's Confessions, or Tales From The Boudoir #7...

Don, have you been interested in any new models recently?

Apparently, this:

Has been so irrelevant that nobody has even checked the paintings I compiled...!

Models that I have been checking for the past month: How about yours?

Karlie Kloss

AnaBeatriz Barros

Nimue Smit

Kendra Spears (very sexy)

Caroline Brasch Nielsen (adorable)

Valentina Zeliaeva (adorable)

Daria Werbowy (very sexy)

Monika Jagaciak

Edita Vilkeviciute

Arizona Muse

The bold are new model interests.

I also like that Vogue Spain 2013 Edita vid. I got to see her talk for the first time, and she's sexy.

Julia Saner has been my most recent discovery who I've taken an immediate like to, but she's not even working anymore :persuazn:

Reading through all the Karlie Kloss guff in the VS thread has been interesting. I'm still pretty indifferent towards her, although I think she looks amazing here:

What do you think of the look? I know as much as you love Karlie, you've said before that you dislike both short hair and glasses contemplate.gif

Any new model interests for you then?

I think it's a gimmicky look, and for fun once or twice. But I would never like to see her with that all the time. In fact, her hair is worse enough! I hope she grows her hair out again!

You know, my interest in Karlie was strongest in 2011. She had a fabulous year and did a ton of shoots & runway work. Then, come 2012 and she starts gets more affiliated with VS, doing other stuff, weight loss, TV show, then chopping off her hair, spending a lot of time attending public events, etc. and I lost interest in her & she became just one of my favorite models throughout 2012. (rather than the best) As of right now, I don't think I have a favorite model anymore since Freja and Karlie are imho, out of the game for me due to their lack of runway/editorial work. If you were to ask who I think is the most beautiful of all models right now, it's Nimue Smit for me! But modeling is just a part time thing for her.

Karlie's recent shoot was excellent, btw, and some of the best I've seen her do in a long time.

Wish I could contribute, but I'm not really interested enough in it. Something tells me Inglorious Basterds wouldn't quite make it into the most accurate list <_<

^My list of followed threads is pretty long, and doesn't really change that much. I guess the shortlist is the same one as my deck of cards.

I think this was the first video I saw Edita speak in, where she explained how to pronounce her name

She is just so utterly beautiful and charming faint.gif

What TV show was Karlie on?

Karlie was the host for 'House of Style'.

Edita's english has improved since then, but indeed, she is warm and attractive.

I think it's clear that Frida G. won my poll:

They look very much don't they? I like them both.

Side note - I've been watching through a load of 8 Out of 10 Cats episodes on YouTube recently, and noticed Rachel Riley has been on it a lot. She is such a fox

It's kind of funny how often they cut to her in the edits. You guys have so many awesome game/panel shows in the UK.. do you watch any?

Ah yes, I’m a Rachel fan too. I actually started a thread for her in ‘other females of interest’ a while back but I’ve been neglecting it - decent pics turned out to be somewhat thinner on the ground than I’d imagined. Maybe it's time to give it another shot...

Oh definitely, most of the panel shows are well worth a look. QI is one of the greatest shows ever made and HIGNFY is pretty good, at times brilliant. I used to watch Mock the Week a lot, but it’s a pale shadow of itself these days. Finding 8 Out Of 10 Cats to be pretty decent lately though - never particularly cared for Jimmy Carr but I really like Jon Richardson and I've always enjoyed Sean Lock.

I don't know if you get this one on your side of the pond, but I've really grown to like Would I Lie To You as well, mostly because of the arguments that happen between Lee Mack (who I'm not overly fussed by usually) and David Mitchell. I love David's pedantry.

Mock The Week hasn't been any good since it's "dark heart" Frankie Boyle left. I've never been particularly enamoured at the stand-up routines of any of the others (save Dara O'Brian - who's somewhat neutered by being the chairman), and although you could always guess - roundabout - what take on a particular story they were all likely to make, Boyle's would alway punch you in the gut regardless. He's an acquired taste though, that's for sure!

QI I always enjoy whenever I watch it (save for the occasional 'stunt' casting, whom are hardly ever astute enough to josh with the semi-regulars); but both 'Buzzcocks and 'News are heavily dependent on the guest host nowadays...

donbot, do you know of Charlie Brooker (I'm sure you must be familiar with him, Michael*)? Whenever he appears on anything I'm there. he's worth looking up if you haven't, "cynical" doesn't even come near to covering his style! Whilst he's most often dissecting television, and news in particular, he also does natty takes on video games too (of which he is a big fan) which you might find interesting.

Oh, and Rachel Riley? Afternoon delight! (Y)
