I've not seen any of Brooker's shows, but I know of him as he's done the rounds on these other shows we've mentioned, like WILTY, Buzzcocks and Cats. I do enjoy his humour and outlook though.. perhaps I should look him up some more contemplate.gif

Tend to agree on MTW going off a cliff when Frankie went, and although I usually start to tire of his shtick when it's spread over a full stand-up routine, I really like him in moderate doses. I still try to catch NMTB most weeks, but miss the Simon Amstell era greatly. Since he did a runner, I can only remember enjoying Frankie, Richard Ayoade and Bob Mortimer (Reeves and Mortimer are pretty much my ultimate comedy gods ) as guest hosts.

Speaking of Amstell, has anyone caught any of his stand-up act before?

Put me down as a fellow Brooker fan, too! I'm awaiting his new weekly show with great excitement. This was always my favourite skit of his...

^As much as I appreciate the Daniel Craig-era for Bond, and it's veering away from the somewhat "sexist" tropes of yore, nevertheless I'd be very happy if that middle picture was the poster for the next film!

Rhod Gilbert was pretty fantastic too.

There's been a few others that did pretty well.. and I dunno if you saw the Juliette Lewis episode, but that was quite funny in an off-the-rails kind of way

It would be so much better if they found an awesome permanent host though.

Oh that's right, how could I have forgotten about Juliette Lewis? Still having trouble thinking of many others, but I seem to remember Adam Buxton of Adam & Joe fame being another of the better ones. Did you guys ever get the recent TV version of Adam's stage show, 'Bug'?

^I know I've posted this somewhere before (forgive me if it's here! ) but given it's been mentioned, it would seem an ideal time to relive this NMTB tie-break meisterstroke:

And, yeah, I never got to see BUG down to that scoundrelly Sky Atlantic.

^ EDITA *goes to the store to buy suntan lotion*

Now that I'm no longer distracted by the beach goddess here is another sweet preview video of Simcity. Looking good so far for the up and coming March 5th release date I was lucky enough to play the beta this past weekend, that alone had me at ease with the game play issues I read too often about.

^ Oh, that slight F*@K UP in EA's part They were quick to retract that clause and change their terms and conditions after a huge uproar by fans on the ridiculous clause. Now I see why there isn't much love in the gaming community for EA

But yes, I did report a few bugs
