Oh, all of the bodypaint went pretty much unnoticed by me. It´s crazy, because you have hot naked women (naked!! and hot! Have I mentioned naked?) with just some colours on - how possibly it could go wrong? Apparently, it can. That was such a huge dissapointment.

Weird isn't it. Maybe everyone just doesn't have the energy for the shoot after the hours of preparation

Marisa was the absolute bodypaint queen.. I can't really remember any being particularly good since any of hers.

Apparently there are "ZOMBIE ATTACKS" in this version of Simcity. They seems to always start at the clinic though That's some killer simulated STD's! And I can't help but laugh when seeing the people shoot it out with the zombies or the zombies feasting on the people themselves. Zombie bit a tad too much now?

^Hah! I've just been talking about this on my thread - how I don't find it in the least bit sexy. I think I'd rather the paint aspect wasn't trying to mimic clothing. There's something about 'skimpy' clothing that's inherently sexy in itself and, of course, so is nudity - but this melange just isn't. It looks messy to me, and I simply don't get the point beyond it's (admitted) cleverness. 'Painted ladies' in and of themselves though is perfect a-OK for me!

Anyway, I actually came to say that Mick Malthouse in 'old, dark, navy blue' is something that's going to take a while to get used to...

Here you are

I like the concept of a good paint on a beautiful naked woman. Just SI always seems to get these things somehow... wrong. Donny, do you have any of those Marisa pics? I´d love to see them again... she was so astonishing.

I think I'd rather be on 'smear' detail than one of the painters too

I really like the concept of SI's bodypainted swimsuits.. but time after time the photos are just wholly uninspired. I think I'd prefer it if they made the photography much more artistic/creative - put as much effort into it as they do the painting itself, and then have it exclusive to just one model per year. Make it interesting dammit!

Anyway, I actually came to say that Mick Malthouse in 'old, dark, navy blue' is something that's going to take a while to get used to...

Indeed! It's always a little jarring at the start of the season when you see players and coaches in new colours.. especially when they're a club favourite that defers to the enemy (Quinten Lynch/Clinton Young :persuazn:). You know Mick used to coach the Eagles too right?

The Blues had a good start to the pre-season cup too, for what it's worth. Always a little hard to gauge at this point though, with each club approaching it with a different mindset.

She killed it every year.. firmly entrenched in the SI Hall of Fame

This is probably my favourite bodypaint shot, and indeed one of my favourite SI shots overall

That's great

How did it even stop? The cops seemed to just panic and fuck off after they fired a few shots aimlessly

Not really knowing how the game works, I couldn't tell if he was doing anything to control/contain it.. or do you just have to ride it out and hope it takes care of itself?

I'm not sure how it stops or starts to be honest. But once I get into the game this March I shall provide more insight on the zombie mayhem. Although the clinic seems to be a center point of it all

LOL, cops and citizens try to contain it but not sure if that helps or the zombie virus just runs its course

^Yes - exactly! I mean, I liked your tattoo example a few pages ago. I've no problem with body art in and of itself.

This is probably my favourite bodypaint shot, and indeed one of my favourite SI shots overall

^You see, I can appreciate that it's "clever" - but it doesn't do anything for me over and above the pose and model. If anything it detracts...

^They did great in last year's pre-season - so, yeah, take it as that!

For me, being a relative newcomer to the game (only since this millennium), Mick has always been a 'Pie. It was an impressive run - but then so was his tenure with your guys (as is Worlsford's for that matter) - and I wonder if coaches will have the opportunity to stay with clubs so long in this new 'global brand' AFL?

^It's been like musical chairs the past few years. Seems like every freaking loss brings a coach closer to losing their job, regardless of the reasons why the team is performing the way they are. It's kind of funny how Collingwood initiated Malthouse's departure/succession plan with Buckley off the back of them not doing so well in finals for a few years running.. then he wins them a premiership in his last year, after the deal's already done. Mark Thompson was on the brink of losing his job too, right before Geelong became the powerhouse they became. So many coaches get disposed of before they properly get the chance to make their mark on the club

So, a new 'Starcraft' is coming out. Are you going to buy it?

I'll be on the lookout for it on youtube. I always like the top notch designs and imagination of this series. The Protoss are obviously inspired by ancient Indian/Islamic civilization/'predator the movie', and the Terrans are very much a mix of WW2 Soviet/American war industry. And the Zerg are an extension & enhancement of the Xenomorph from Aliens.. Oh, and War of the worlds/Starship Troopers..

Wow, I'm surprised. ...Given how high profile these games are. I played the first one in the late 1990s.

I was too lazy to play competitively online although my best friend was a fan of it at the time.

It's very well designed game, and rather tactically inclined with endless permutations. I never got the hang of the Zerg (also don't like to play as the bugs) but could handle the human (terran) and the protoss. The second game came out recently and they revamped the whole system while maintaining the same finely tuned balance. I didn't get to play it, but I watched the story on youtube. Tis good'. They take all the most interesting sci-fi concepts from classic films and blend it all together.

No, I suck at RTS games

They know how to make an impressive cinematic trailer though

Very pretty! That "Bring on the Dancing Horses" shoot is beautiful

Still looks quite young - any idea how old she is? She looks to be one to watch
