Somewhat surprising event to win your second gold metal in
.
Of course, despite said milestone, it seems she was still outshined by some other woman named Michelle Jennele or something (who I didn't even see despite being an Olympics fanatic) for some little dance that got edited into a bunch of gifs and such.
Don, who's the first girl?
I was also gifted Rising Storm recently. Haven't tried it yet, though.

Tash-Tash's legs, yay or nay? ![]()
^Who's Tash-Tash? ![]()

Natasha Barnard. ![]()

Double shame since she wasn't even there
. I guess that gif must have blown up around that time due to the general Olympic sentiment then. It looks like she's already become the next pole vault girl (don't know her name, but she was everywhere just for looking into the distance holding the pole) As a side note though, have you by any chance noticed a particular set of Marloes photo shoots whereby they photoshoped her head to look extra small
? I had some examples next to the video but I lost them. I know that in some cases legs are photoshopped to look extra long, but I don't quite get that one.
^Oh yeah, Allison Stokke? She's sexy as hell ![]()
Funny how that video/gif also got her a spot in SI this year too.. although the shots weren't really that good ![]()
And no, can't say I've noticed any shoots like that ![]()
I might be able to find the pics though if you can describe them (clothing, setting, etc)?
Natasha Barnard.
Oh ![]()
I thought maybe you meant her, but I thought it was a little odd, being that there's very little of her that doesn't fall squarely on the 'yay' side.
Any particular reason why you bring it up?

I played the Beta and sampled all 5 beta maps. It's an improvement over RO2, and is the best of its genre. The maps are immediately recognizable as inspired by HBO's The Pacific, The Thin Red Line, Letters from Iwo Jima/Flags of our Fathers, etc. ![]()
Rising Storm isn't out for another day or so on Steam. The setting does look quite cool.

Mostly because - for some reason - they don't feature on an awful lot of shots. I have no idea why since they are awesome. ![]()
^She's got really sexy thighs ![]()
If I was being critical, her calves aren't particularly well defined nor her ankles very slender (eg. compared to Cat-Cat
), but hey.. she wears them well :brows:

The host's voice acting was pretty weird- it was supposed to be a very thick Russian accent, but not knowing Russian I can't really tell. But his content was classic Russian humor- It was dis-embodied way is to make fun of one's dire straights, misery, and wretchedness.
What I like about Russian humor is the fact that it is not only more intelligent, but it is also humble/atheistic and grounded on the realistic fact that man is nothing but mere shadows and dust.
Yeah, that part was great.. although the dancing girls' physics-defying boobs were something of a distraction
I too really like the 'Russian-ness' of it all, and the voice acting in general is very good. I think some of it is a little hit and miss though.
The host of the theatre night for example I thought was pretty flat.
I assume you're talking about Human Revolution? I never played the older games anyway.
Good as it was, I felt like there was a distinct lack of life and atmosphere in that game.. something just didn't quite feel right about it.
Yep. I did watch some of and I really liked the Blade Runner theme. (my favorite Sci-fi film
) Though it's rather odd and convenient that future people would modify their body parts into weapons rather than anything more useful.....

I love Australia!

Well, yeah, she is pretty hot
although my only problem is my friends who only know the hot ones. That is at least of the ones that love the men's side but only know the hot women on the women's side. On the other hand, maybe some could inadvertently get drawn in to the big picture that way. I know I like my share of hot female athletes anyway
but I love a lot of sports and some here and there are consequently hot. On top of that, they probably stand out more since one isn't necessarily expending it in comparison to say models or actresses. Anyway, the photoshoot has her with long stockings, legs crossed, standing against a wall and covering her bosom with her arms. In the shoot, she had a super small head whereas in the video, she had a regular sized head. It could have possibly been the angle and lighting rather than photoshop though.
^Yeah I suppose. Do you follow track & field sports throughout the year? I guess I'm not really a big sports guy apart from AFL anyway, but those types of events kind of cease to exist outside the Olympics for me ![]()
Is this the one you mean?

It does look kinda small now that you mention it. Actually I think her shoulders just look extra wide - probably just an illusion because of how her hair is obscuring everything.

I do enjoy the Russian accent in general too.. and there's just something about the way they (or perhaps I) relish in the enunciation of typical names like Lesnitsky. I think Anna's accent was a little shaky - she sounded like an American putting it on.
It's been a while since I played Human Revolution now, but didn't you find it devoid of atmosphere? It was a well done vision of the future and all that, but in terms of looking and feeling like a believable city(ies), I found it lacking. Maybe there just weren't enough NPCs, nor any with convincing chatter and behaviour. It's done so organically in Infinite and Last Light.

Forget tourism funding.. that photo is all you need ![]()

I don't remember HR so much other than the fact that it was strongly influenced by Blade Runner (even the color schemes, style, etc.), Hong Kong, and Singapore. I watched the story and the main settings with interest on youtube and that's it. It looks like a somewhat long slog for a gamer, though. The NPCs are dumb, and the actual fighting didn't seem that entertaining. Was that your impression?
However, I liked the creative stuff done with it (including all the virals) and although none of it compares with Bioshock Infinite's first section or the Bioshock story, there were more city/future stuff around (though comparably watered down..). But they really overdid the golden sheen....yea, it was cool in Blade Runner but it wasn't used everywhere..
You know, the thing that sticks to my mind is the capsule hotel...They have these in Japan and I saw them in Tokyo. I love how they added it in HR, and it made me feel nostalgic for my trips there.
This makes me want to refresh my memory:

. I had actually meant to describe the undergarments too, but I dislike the words 'panties' and 'underwear' so I didn't but you found it anyway. That's true, the shoulders and hair probably did it, but great pic anyway
.
I actually do keep up with Olympic sports during the year
but I'm not a 'I've been here all along' during the actual Olympics like some are. Plus I'm already to a degree 'that guy' when it comes to shows made from books, so I can't afford both :angle: . I've been trying to keep up with AFL too although I can't get the games regularly. I didn't want to just choose a team at the top, so I made Greater Western Sydney my team. This was somewhat painful to look at though
.

Yeah it's definitely the most yellow game I've ever played ![]()
I did enjoy it, probably to about a 7/10 degree at most. You didn't have to play the game like this, but I found the most satisfying was to do so stealthily - figuring out how to clear rooms and/or get to the destination without getting spotted or having an alarm raised. I don't really remember how good or bad the AI was. The gunplay was okay, but nothing special. The coolest/most satisfying kills were the melee takedowns with your extendo-arms, but I didn't really do it that often because it used up energy and made noise. In the end I think it was a game that did a lot of things well, but nothing exceedingly great.
