I'm more of a high fashion model fan so I lean towards SI girls that are closer to those dimensions.  If I were to rate this year's SI girls like others did, I would be rating most of them as being indifferent (the rookies in particular.  Outside of Marloes the others haven't registered).  

 

I think they went more for 'the girl next door' than even commercial model looks this time around and the 10 out of 12 new girls reflected that.  

 

Kate Bock, below the neck, is completely what I like and she got a good location (Switz) and a good photographer.  Of course, Marloes and Anne V are the favorites.

 

I got to say that Valerie was a disappointment.  Like Dionni, she is very fair skinned person that works very well with lingerie.  I don't think she even tans so putting her in the desert was wrong.  The artificial tan and makeup didn't work well with her.  She  usually photographs well (I don't agree with the flaming of her at all) if put into a context that works to her strengths.  Natasha Barnard, which I had high hopes for...got unlucky as well and didn't pan out.

 

Hanna's nudes belonged more in playboy than SI but she looked good.  She is also very much 'girl next door' attractive rather than 'successful commercial model'.

Unfortunately, I found Emily D to be boring and the retouching was too much.  I've never considered her as having a particularly hot bikini body.  She did get a good location though and I liked those dogs..Her shoot last year was better.

Bjegje has a very delicate bone structure and looks good in tight dresses.  But I've always found her presence in the modeling world a little odd.  I've remarked before that Jennka has a considerably prettier face than Bjege..

Your snow picture reminds me of an amphibious landing.  Soldiers (with 60 pounds on their backs) are crawling forward in the muddy sand while being fired at by heavy machineguns...mortars, direct fire shells, and artillery exploding around them, spraying deadly shrapnel everywhere.:

I asked you about the tanks to confirm a tank trope...lol.  The German Tiger and Panther Tank (2,3) are the most popular tanks of all time, and a lot of it has to do with their physical appearance & size, which was designed to radiate imagined power (Nazi propaganda).

Few are fans of US M4 Sherman.  The big cats are the star of Tank museums such as the one in the UK (Bovington )  or Russia ( Kubrinka).

They will be stars of the new Brad pitt movie about tank fighting. : )

It's notable that Nadine, Erin, Marloes, and Anne... (Austria, USA, Holland, Russia) look alike but are from completely different parts of the world

You know with this movie...I completely don't care about the cast.  Haha.  I find the fact that they are doing armored battles in the West Front (with real equipment) for once in WW2 film the only reason to see it.
