And today is's been 49 years since the release of this one:
Rubber Soul
The biggest turning point in the band's career in my opinion.
And it came out only 4 months after Help!

Today another album has it's birthday:
50 years for Beatles for Sale

I should have posted this yesterday.
34 years without JOHN LENNON

I haven't seen it complete yet, but it's quite interesting!

I'm a huge Beatles fan and I am absolutely loving all of the videos!! I do actually know people who have never heard of The Beatles and every time I am told that by someone my heart breaks, both for them and for the state of music in general.

Yes, that is actually a sad thing...
What are your favorite albums/songs?

I find it hard to believe there aren't more Beatles fans on here.
Hmm... This is a difficult question. I'm going to go with my favorite songs for each album, not including any solo work they did. Hopefully that's alright. (Also these are obviously not the only songs of their's that I love, but it's already a list that's feels very long).
Please Please Me:
Love Me Do
I Saw Her Standing There
Do You Want To Know A Secret
With The Beatles:
Don't Bother Me
A Hard Day's Night:
A Hard Days Night
And I Love Her
Can't Buy Me Love
Any Time At All
Beatles for Sale:
Rock and Roll Music (even though it's a cover)

All You Need Is Love
I Am the Walrus
With A Little Help From My Friends
White Album:

I'm So Tired
Blackbird
Yellow Submarine:
All You Need Is Love
Abbey Road:
Here Comes the Sun
Come Together
Oh! Darling
Past Masters:
Sie Leibt Dich
(I' really hoping I didn't list any song under the wrong album).
I don't know what my favorite album as a whole would be. I love all of their music, so it's hard. Revolver and Rubber Soul are both beyond incredible overall, but they have so many that are.

Those under Sgt. Pepper's, except With a Little Help From My Friends, are actually from Magical Mystery Tour
. And by I Want to Tell You a Secret on Revolver, you mean I Want to Tell You, right?
Nice list!
I'm suprised about these:
With The Beatles:
Don't Bother Me
Past Masters:
Sie Leibt Dich
I'll do the same exercise, though I won't include covers.

I've always thought these 3 songs are key in the development of heavier forms of Rock. It may lack the aggressiveness later explored by specially The Who, but these riffs are definitely something to be taken in consideration.
I Feel Fine (1964)

Ticket To Ride (1965)
Day Tripper (1965)

Today, back in 1969 The Beatles had their last live performance ever: at the rooftop of Apple's building in Saville Row, London

Did anyone see this? I know it's a joke but c'mon....

And I love this song by Johnny Rivers. Mountain of Love is a favorite too.

Why, Yoko. Why??

It's a great song though!
Yoko's screaming reminded me of this:
