^ But that was just the picture for the cover, the real masterpiece turns 46 years old today:

THIS IS AWESOME!

Not bad at all I would say ![]()

In my opinion the best album by any Beatle post-Beatles is today 45 years old:
By George Harrison: All Thing Must Pass
Such a masterpiece.

Wonderful bass line by Sir Paul

^ And the vocals by George Harrison + Paul on the backing harmonies (and humming the guitar solo
)

Since today The Beatles' catalog is on Spotify and streaming platforms

Really old recording: The Beatles right before stardom playing at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, 1962

^ Even earlier: a rehearsal recorded at Paul McCartney's home in Liverpool, mid 1960. By this time they were probably going under the name The Silver Beetles.
Also, this, along with the other songs from this rehearsal, is one of the few recordings known to feature Stuart Sutcliffe on bass.
Paul McCartney sings the lead vocal and then John Lennon does the spoken part (
)

Another one from that same rehearsal:
One After 909 primarily written by John Lennon; one of his earliest songs.
This song had quite an evolution afterwards. They attempted to record it again in 1963, but for some reason it didn't work out:
(Which I can't fucking find in Youtube... how frustrating)
The song was rescued again in 1969 for the Get Back album sessions, which would later become Let it Be and it was played at the Apple building rooftop on 30 of January 1969.
(Which I can't find either... Fuck you Youtube...)

52 years ago today The Beatles played on the US for the first time appearing on The Ed Sullivan Show

Here Comes The Sun
Isolated synth and strings parts

I've never heard this before
Only an earlier demo.
This is pretty much a "Beatles" recording, only John Lennon wasn't involved (thank you Yoko): it features George Harrison on guitar, Paul McCartney on bass, Ringo Starr on drums, plus Nicky Hopkins on keyboards (he play keyboards on Revolution), God Eric Clapton on lead guitar and Jackie Lomax on vocals
The song was written by George Harrison when they were in India.
Until now I only knew this song by an acoustic demo. I had no idea there existed a full band version!

Part of the masterpiece that is Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band:
Which is 49 years old today and changed the history of Rock and popular music.

Happy Birthday Sir Paul!!

This is wonderful:
