Thanks, love this shot.

Did you end up playing Wolfenstein: The New Order?
I enjoyed it for the most part but still ended up being a bit disappointed.
I still have to replay it for the other time-line.

No, I didn't play it. I watched the story and settings on youtube, though.
Probably the only game that I will get is COH2: The western front armies.

It's an incredibly conventional shooter.
The characterizations are decent though.

I thought the story and set designs were worth checking out. It was good but not great. I'll elaborate more about that in Donbot's thread. The game looks to be intentionally 'retro' just like the design.
The key difference between choosing one or the other is a change in side characters. One of them is Miss one-note and the other is Jimmy Hendrix :-D It is such a small difference that you might as well just check it out on youtube and not bother replaying.
I guess you completely lost interest in Coh2?

Well perhaps not completely lost interest, but I haven't really picked it up again since its release. I only very sporadically play nowadays anyway, only when a title I'm really interested in is released.

^^^
I bought the game sometime in late 2013 and found it unbalanced & rough. I uninstalled it after a week or two. But since then , the developers have invested into Coh2 and updated it twenty times with many improvements. After every major update, I re-installed just to see what's new and I bought all the commanders. Some of the commanders were marginal but I bought them out of respect for the effort.
I heard of the expansion recently and I re-installed to find that the product is now polished and balanced. The tactical depth has improved, although it is still a game that doesn't take long to bore me. It's not deep enough, but it is however, action packed. A problem that remains is the size of the maps, which tend toward lacking space to freely maneuver. Engagement ranges are also much too close.
As for the expansion, I'm in contact with someone who is a tester for this game, and he sent me descriptions of the entire system and all the units. Here are commanders 1 to 3. :I must say that the expansion surpasses the original Soviet and Ostheer factions by a wide margin, and the factions are pretty interesting. It's worth getting (only $20 USD) just to experience the novelty of the design system and experiment with various combinations. Release date is June 24.
Out of curiosity , are you interested in nonfiction books?
http://www.bellazon.com/main/topic/52958-your-nonfiction-books-thread/

I am interested in non-fiction, but I have been on a fiction binge recently.
I think the last fiction book I read was Alan Sepinwall's about the TV drama's golden age, "The revolution was televised".

What subjects (nonfiction) are you interested in?
Last time I made a thread about books, only Stormbringer responded. I don't know what to do with this thread yet.

Who would you say was the Tony Romo of football
?

Admit it, you're thinking about it too! ![]()
