I heard good things about Bloodborne.

I think Until Dawn is exclusive to the PS4? I am a PC gamer.

I don't know- I was under the impression that Bloodborne may be an exclusive. Or not.

Bloodborne has a unique premise (lovecraft horror, but in reverse- the mainstream society worships the spagetti monsters) . It reminds me of Onimusha 2 from 15 years ago except that it's probably the best in the entire genre of hack and slash horror. The artwork, boss design/AI, and atmospheric aspects are exceptional and the story isn't shoved down your throat- it's told through 'clues' and induction, which gives an aura of mystery to the whole thing. It seems rather stressful to actually play.

I really enjoyed watching Until Dawn's "control your horror movie" format (w/ butterfly effect choices) and it's probably better than any of the producer's (Fessenden's) horror flicks. It follows a similar scheme where the story is supplemented with observation and finding clues. It seems ground breaking in the way- we're out of the "uncanny valley" with the good motion capture and the use of good professional actors. Until Dawn is also considerable in that it's direction is on par with a good horror flick with its use of atmosphere and camerawork.
