wow... I'm reading "The Kite Runner" too

I thought to post here after I finish the book. And now I just read about half of it.

I love the first part too, almost cry for their friendship

And I found it funny when I read his marriage

PS: I just finished the book and it is quite good (Y)

Recently finished with the waste-of-time "Time Traveler's Wife" and now reading the very optimistic () "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy.

I'm reading Khaled Hosseini's "The Kite Runner" now. I enjoyed the earlier part the most. Even though I'm still halfway, but the later part seems less and less interesting.

Yeah, considering how many copies The Kite Runner has sold and how much praise it's gotten, it was a big, dull disappointment.
