is there any point reading 'Capital' by Marx or not? i've been told by one of my pals just to read 'The Communist Manifesto' but i dunno . . . am intrigued by 'revolutionary thinking'. i'm not a Marxist or Communist though since i am now apathetic.

I haven't read any of Marx's work, but I personally think that reading works of Leo Strauss would be far more interesting.

I've heard that Jordan's books are overly long and boring, with too little plot movement and an absurdly huge number of characters.

Do you disagree? Is his stuff worth checking out?
