Oh jeez you gotta try that walnut + banana dipped in choclate ASAP!

Ah okay so no more crazy snow storms We actually have our first MAJOR storm(s) and what a storm at that. First one coming in tonight will dump 0.5-1" of rain but it's the 2nd one that is the storm to watch. That one is forecasted to dump anywhere from 3-6 inches of rain in our area We have some serious potential for flooding in some areas so lets see how this all goes considering that we don't get that kind of rain often.

And no I have never watched that show but heard many stories about it. Hmm, now I shall poke at an episode when I get a chance just to see what all the hype is about. Great, let's hope it's not Breaking Bad addictive or else I'm in for a TV run

Wishful thinking on my part eh? Luckily we have it good here though, lets not kid ourselves, even with the corruption that is amongst us at the local, state and federal levels, at least we can live decent lives without any real up-front government oppressions. I guess it's all about trying to keep the current status quo bearable vs having to riot for basics needs although we MUST strive for a better tomorrow, no doubt about that.

Just to weed out most of the Republican party and all the bigotry within

Aahaha, just goes to show how separation of "church & state" is one hell of a blurry line here in the USA. Hmmm, such as a precious little someone in Arizona who just had to veto a certain bill

That was one powerful scene there for the fact it was based on some current truths about our country Nice share Pinky

Floods are never fun. Neither are droughts. Just can’t win! I hope you and your family are doing well & are safe, and no damages to your home

House of Cards is addictive but not as addictive as BB. You won’t need HOC rehab afterwards

I agree, compare to third world countries we overall do have it good and riots are not as common as they used to be   However there are parts of the country that's third world-like b/c of the lack of clean water, food, and other basic necessities. It is not b/c we don’t have the capabilities or resources, but b/c of the unequal distribution of resources. It is a complex topic with many social factors and layers. Government structure has a lot to do with it

The Republicans, esp. the Tea Baggers, are definitely a specie of their own. I don’t think all of them are bad but most of them seem very closed-minded, self-absorbed and delusional

I am glad AZ veto the bill b/c it’s ridiculous! <_< Glad we are moving in the right direction

I have not seen Newsroom either but is definitely on my list of shows to watch

I love their peanut brittle!!!

Greece history is awesome but I always liked more and had more knowledge about Ancient Rome.

Oh yes, it's kind of sad that happens. I like to keep reading about History, so I haven't lost what I've learned, but it definitely happened with the Engineering part

I got interested about the same age, but for different reasons (a video game  ). The religion is indeed a very interesting aspect of those civilizations culture. I've been interested about the origins of it lately, and its connections to other Indo-European peoples religions.

It's truly amazing what a good professor can do at motivating you into learning. When it's someone brilliant and passionate about what he's teaching at same time, classes can get absolutely amazing. I had a math teacher in High School who was like that. Maybe that's what motivated me into entering Engineering at the time

So sad he had those issues! It's a pity that sometimes so brilliant people has that kind of problems...

I'm just listening to Echoes right now: Eargasms!

...

That's indeed a really long trip!

I uploaded the first of the 2 covers I've been working on!

I posted it on my thread and on the recordings thread too.

What video game was it? God of War? Age of Empires? Civilization?

Here are two books that might be of interest about religions in antiquity:

http://www.amazon.com/Arcana-Mundi-Occult-Collection-Ancient/dp/0801883466

http://www.amazon.com/Haunted-Greece-Rome-Classical-Antiquity/dp/0292725086

Eargasms indeed! Very chilling in a mystical and power way

Yeah, I checked out Bring It on Home. Love it Thanks for sharing and please continue!

lol Oxegen and their classy programing

Ahhh I see.  So your a genius then, right? Being Asian and all? I kid I kid with these stereotypes

Oxygen programmings are total trash BUT I love it Mindless TV shows help me de-stress sometimes esp after a long day at work I have watched every season of BGC Best seasons were 4 and 5. The rest were kinda boring and unmemorable

LOL...hahahaha...I am indeed a genius...in my own mind I am very much the opposite of a stereotypical Asian: I can’t do math if my life depended on it (Yes, I have shamed my culture ) and I am curvy esp. my lower body. A total pear-shape. Some of the things that are stereotypical about me: I am kinda pale. I just don’t tan even if I am in the sun all day---very odd I also am an A student....hahaha

It was Caesar III first, which got me into Ancient Rome and then Age of Empires

Oh thanks a lot for the recommendations! They look interesting

That version is amazing! Even better than the studio version I would say.

Thank you for listening! I'm glad you liked it

Of course I'll share anything new. Your interest is much appreciated

Oh, I don't think I have heard of Caesar III before. However I am not surprised there is a video game about/inspired by Caesar

I generally prefer the studio version of songs but occasionally I do like the live version better. Echoes being one of them and some of Rammstein's stuff

You make good music so it is not hard to be interested BTW, I like the split screen thing in your videos. So simple but also shows the complexity of the songs and the mixing

Speaking of hair, I am a natural medium brunette with wavy hair. Kinda annoying b/c my hair gets frizzy <_<

No, being smart isn't a bad stereotype of all but it is still a stereotype. Regardless if a stereotype is perceived as positive or negative, it is still a judgement with assumptions & notions attached. In the case of being smart, it involves the perception of failure or success

I like Asian food too and not b/c I am Asian My favorite is Japanese and Authentic Chinese. I also like Korean, Vietnamese and Thai. Not a fan of Indian but I think I mentioned that before

I am also a huge fan of Italian food. Pasta---so good but also so bad for you!

It was a kind of SimCity but setted on Ancient Rome. I was addicted to that game back in the day

Actually me too, I tend to prefer the studio version, but in this case that performance is superb

Thank you once again!

Yes, it's kind of a simple trick (and pretty much the best I could do considering my limitations on video editing  )

Speaking of SimCity, I tried playing SimCity 4 awhile back but got impatient and frustrated with my lack of ability to build a decent city Do you play SimCity?

What video editing program do you use for your videos?

Luckily we didn’t have any serious flooding in our immediate area. We RARELY ever suffer such but we do get the usual mess that any major rain storm might leave around the house.

Ah good, no patches after the show then

I guess the good word here would be stability, even though we might not be #1 in math, science, engineering, healthcare, education, we have that long term stability that many countries can only dream of...for now And I concur with the whole government structure being the main root of any social, economic and political problems, sad state of affairs for the unlucky who have to be raised in such a disadvantage right off the bat. Funny you mention the word distribution too, currently a rising word here in the USA in terms of economic disparities due to $$$ being collected by far too few in the country And to think, our founding fathers mentioned this very issue about the dangers of too few holding the majority of our countries wealth. Boy would they be in for a nasty surprise if they somehow came back to life and saw the current state of finical affairs for our middle class.

Sadly there are so many spoiled apples in the bunch it's just easier to toss the whole basket out.

Glad AZ did the such but what's a bit concerning is the fact that similar bills are being bought up by other states around the country

Great, now I'm craving it and I shall be buying a box and then posting it here soon

I am willing to bet our Founding Fathers are kicking & ranting in their graves :persuazn: The status of our government and legal system is not what they envisioned In fact it’s the opposite b/c they knew if things ever became imbalanced, society would go down the crapper. All the blood, sweat and tears they went through was in hopes to prevent all of this

The way I see it is a battle at a time. It ridiculous that other states are trying to pass similar bills but AZ was a huge step Who would have thought the governor AZ would stand up to such injustice? I know I didn’t b/c it is a red state. It kinda gives me a glimmer of hope Also, more and more states are legalizing same-sex marriage Don't get me wrong, we still got a long way to go but at least we are starting to head in the right direction.

I stopped watching after season 3, I missed a few, then some more, then some more, and eventually just fell out with it. I liked the fight episodes the best...and with the letter drama and JWoww and Sammy

Hmmm thats interesting, I don't see a ton of people of asian decent with a more brownish tone....BUT what I have seen STILL stunning The dark works so well against the skin tone

Right And exactly its just a stereotype. Just like Polish people are dumb, Irish are drunks, and the French are assholes, its all just a pushed view, which is definetly more innacurate than it is accurate!

WHETHER YOU ARE ASIAN, BLACK, WHITE, MEXICAN THAT FOOD IS THE BOMB I LOVVEEE a good stir fry  Korean food is good too, I have a korean friend (who looks like a white girl with tan skin but her mom was white ) and I would always go to her grandmas house with her and we would eat a ton of great korean food!

Pasta...bread......my weaknesses

I haven't played it quite some time but I used to play SimCity 3000 and then SimCity 4. I loved those games

But I always liked more Caesar III, maybe for the historic settlement. I also played Caesar IV, but even though it had much better graphics, I prefer the previous one

I use Final Cut Pro. It's a software for Mac. It's very good program, and very intuitive too, so I learned the basics quite quickly.

The catfights between JWoww and Sammi were the highlight of the series...hahahaha... I really liked Vinny at the beginning b/c he was the most level-headed, down-to-earth and “normal” of all of them As the series progressed he became a major douche, maybe to impress the other guys in the house, and my liking for him quickly diminished

I also agree with you, dark hair works well with fairer skin tones. It is a nice balancing contrast

Every culture, race, and etc. has their dumbasses, drunks and assholes. I think it is a universal people thing. That’s why I prefer cute animals...hahahah...

One of my best pals from high school is half Korean and half Russian. Gorgeous girl but not a nice person I would go over her house every Sunday and her mom would make the yummiest authentic Korean dishes. I am getting hungry thinking about it My favorite Korean dishes include bulgogi, bibimbap, gimbap and of course the side dishes. YUM!!!DuHwqLQ.gif

I am telling you if I ever go to Italy I wouldn’t be able to fit into the plane back home! I would eat so much pasta and bread that I would look like the giant marshmallow in Ghostbusters Carbs are my weaknesses too!!!

I just googled the games you mentioned. They look pretty complex and probably over my head if I attempted to give them a try I think I will stick to Tetris, Bubbles and Mario Kart

I used Final Cut and iMovies when I was in school We are trying to get Macs for our department at work but by the looks of things that won’t be happening anytime soon

They can be quite complex but not that much. And they're really fun once got the basics of them. And they had nice and easy to follow tutorials

Oh I loved Mario Kart!!   That is one awesome game. Bubbles... I don't know that one.

Nice! So you're familiar with Final Cut. I could ask you if I have doubts then. If you remember about it of course

That's the downside with Macs, they are expensive. Hope you can get them sometime!

^ Here is the arcade version of the Bubble game I played in high school (starts at 00:40 and you don’t need to watch the whole video ):

I also played it on my PS2 but now I sometimes play it on my iPod:

They keep on changing the name but the concept’s the same. Very simple game that is addictive

It’s been awhile since I have used Final Cut. I remember initially feeling a bit overwhelmed but after some time it was ok   The program has a similar interface as Adobe Premiere. Perhaps it is a common video editing thing

Yeah that’s exactly why the company is hesitant about getting us Macs b/c they are pricey

^ Ah it's pretty much what I thought it could be: something a bit similar to tetris. Quite simple indeed, but those games came become quite addictive too

At first I was a bit overwhelmed by it too  I wasn't familiar at all with video editing software before.

On the other hand, they are really useful for audio/music editing, and video too. Would be great if they were less pricey.

Ooo...can't wait!!!

Yup, pretty much But at the same time I do see how what was back then a good idea might need some revision as time goes on to evolve with technology and the social consciousness

As long as we have bigots and racists in public office get ready to see more of what AZ has been dishing out But hey, at least we are leaps and bounds ahead in some areas than most of the world is in equality for all

Ahaha, yes, I saw that last night after a mention was made on TV of it. The fact this happened is awesome on so many levels

And the peanut brittle might have to wait for a while Pinky

EDIT ADD: I almost completely forgot about this hilarious photoshop job someone did on one of Marisa Miller's VS Fantasy bra pics. Its been buzzing all over the net as of late, get ready for a laugh and be impressed. Not a bad PS job if you ask me
