I know no one has bounced back from a 3-0 but I seriously believe that teams have bounced back from a 3-1 deficent. However, I have no proof of that im just guessing.Have you ever watched Everybody loves Raymond. Just found out one of the twins from the show committed suicide.
I think I've heard about some teams recovering from a 3-1 disadvantage too, but I can't remember any example.
Oh, those are sad new!
I haven't watched it though. (It's like I haven't watched any of the things you've asked me about lately
This is getting embarrassing
)
there's more than enough room for the more fuller figured model. And I'm not even talking about the plus size types. As with Alexandria's old body.... I still wouldn't have considered her a plus size model.
Oh, she's definitely not a plus size model in ay way. Not even before. But to be honest I'm sometimes confused by the 'plus size' term and the weird ways in which is used some times.

^ ah so we are even lol because most of the time when you mention bands that are popular... I've never heard of them
So we shouldn't feel too bad lol

Let's call it even then
![]()
What is happening to the Clippers?? ![]()

I just heard the commentators saying that there has been 9 teams that have overcome a 3-1 deficit. And actually one of them was the Rockets in 1995.

^ yeah I just heard that too. While they'll probably win tonight... The odds are still against them I'll say lol.

Hahaha yes I agree. Plus the next game is in LA.

I was thinking the Clippers would blow them out today. ![]()
Are you paying attention to the NBA draft prospects this year? I have no idea.
Just I recall hearing about some guy with the last name Okafor. I'm interested in seeing the draft though I just don't know whose coming in. ![]()
I hope Raptors get a successful pick. I honestly don't like the guy they picked last year, Bruno Cabocla. He hasn't played much, he pretty just played at the very end of games when the Raptors were blowing out an opponent... but from what I saw I think he has alotttttttt of work to do to become a good player in the NBA... he looks extremely amateur from what I've seen. ![]()
Also while watching tonight's NBA game I keep seeing ads for the new Entourage film coming out. Have you ever watched the TV show? Are you a fan? I feel like you're going to say you've never seen it lol. IVe seen the show but I don't think its that great and I have no interest in seeing the film. I don't think it'll do great box office wise. I'm predicting less than $20 million opening weekend. (Let's see if I'm right lol) June 3rd it comes out.

Me too!!
But it's them suffering the massacre...!
Actually not at all, I have no idea either
Even less than you since I haven't heard that name at all. So the draft is on TV there? I think it has never been on TV here.
I haven't heard his name at all, so I guess he definitely wasn't a factor for the team
. But will the Raptors have a pick on the first round or so this year? They finished on a rather high seed this season so how are their odds for the draft lottery?
Dammit, I'll feel embarrassed again
I had no idea about a movie coming out and I've never seen the TV show either. But I feel like I've heard the name many times
. What is it about?
We'll see about your prediction ![]()

Yeah the draft is televised here.
I believe the draft happens in June. ![]()
Yeah I believe every team gets a first round pick, No matter how good the record. However, yes the worse teams have the better odds at getting the highest spots in the draft. Last year Raptors had the 20th pick in the first round. Then I think the 37 th pick in the second round.
Haha.
Entourage is about the life of this fictional movie star named Vincent Chase and his Entourage. It takes place in real world Hollywood that's why in the show there's tons of real life cameos.... such as Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg etc etc. Vincent Chase has to compete for roles with these guys. And Leonardo DiCaprio's name has been mentioned a few times.
Some people even think the character is loosely based on the career of Leo's. For example in the show Vincent Chase has worked with directors like James Cameron (he directed Titanic) Martin Scorsese. All guys leo has worked with. Then at the same time it's said the character of Vincent is based off of Mark Wahlberg.
One of the guys who plays one of Vincent's Entourage is actually a long time friend of Leo's in real life. And back in 1995 when Mark and leo were filming Basketball diaries... that actor Kevin Connolly, would hang around them a lot since he was Leo's friend. That's probably how Kevin got the role in Entourage in the first place.
So yeah the leo connection/ the fact that Leo's friend is in the show is what made me watch the show in the first place lol.
And sorry for the bad explanation. I suck ass at explaining. ![]()

This is Bruno Cabocla
They call him the Brazillian Kevin Durant. So with a comparison like that..... best believe there was a lot excitement surrounding him. Actually Toronto fans would Chant Bruno's name saying "We want Bruno" because they wanted to see him play.
Though I don't want them to trade him just yet, because if he goes on another team and matures to become a great player that would be awful lol. He's only 19 and he's still learning English... he has time to grow. It just depends how hard he works, and how bad he wants to succeed in the NBA. So we gotta wait, but I'm kinda impatient lol

Michael, yeah seems like a complicated process in deciding what teams get cities or where they'll move too! I still don't get how Los Angeles has 2 NBA teams, but no NFL team. Though surprisingly with the Clippers and lakers there seems to be a rivalry within the city, so they each have their own fans.... why LA residents would choose one team over the other is beyond me though.
We have a lot of inner city sporting rivalries over here, the most famous being Manchester United and Manchester City in football. Fans usually cite family reasons as motivation for backing one team over the other, with young kids either being indoctrinated (or possibly brainwashed
) into supporting their family's favourite teams from an early age, or being contrary and choosing to root for their rivals instead.
Without wishing to hit you in the face with too many questions (
), for those whose city suddenly doesn't have a local team, does the game automatically become less popular in that area? Or do the fans still root for their old team, even though they're located elsewhere?

Oh family reasons. That's interesting, that wouldn't have crossed my mind but it makes sense.Michael, yeah seems like a complicated process in deciding what teams get cities or where they'll move too! Lol no worries. ![]()
That's a good question!!!! I have no idea!

^ Pretty much the same thing happens here. We also have a couple of cities with more than one team (I'm speaking about football here), and people follow one or another for kind of the same reasons. Most of the bigger teams though are in Santiago and are followed by people from all the country.
Yeah the draft is televised here.

Ah perfect! I didn't know every team got a 1st round pick. I knew about their odds at getting a higher spot though. But with all the negotiations they do during the season it's easy to get lost ![]()
Thanks for the explanation! It's quite clear ![]()

^ OK good ![]()

WTF the Clippers!!
![]()

And did you see this one?
![]()

That is a lot of seafood...you had three different types of Shrimp
I like scallops and crabmeat among crustaceans the most. I like crab in a thick cream-based sauce and I like scallops lightly seasoned. I don't get that excited over Lobster..dunno why, it just bores me. Shrimp is like the chicken of the seas to me..it doesn't have much flavor and it's more about the method of preparation. ![]()
I like salmon too. Yes, lots of mixed vegetables and Salmon goes well with steamed rice, as the fish fat gets absorbed there.. Salmon has excellent natural taste and needs little seasoning. I also like fish soup but not all fishes (such as Salmon, which makes a bad soup) work. Swordfish is excellent, particularly fried and it makes a good soup, too.
Yeah, for me I like steaks (filet, ribeye, T-bone) a lot better than burger meat. I don't do prime rib, brisket, or flat iron. The texture and taste of the meat is too rough. With burgers it's all about the complements...and I have difficulty finding some combination that differentiates and makes the burger awesome. If I am in the mood for beef, I just order a steak.... more simple. I also have difficulty downing (non fast food) burgers as they generally are quite large with all the bread.
Do you dislike bitter taste (so you don't like coffee/tea?). I personally dislike McDonalds and try to avoid them if possible. I find their presence annoying as one cannot go anywhere in the US without running into them & I don't like anything they make. Then overseas, more McDonalds.... ![]()
A common issue for me is don't really like salad. I don't have an affinity for raw vegetables and prefer them softened & heated. (boiled, steamed, grilled, or mixed with spices or meat oil) And I mostly like only green vegetables. Seaweed is ok, too.
Andy, I kinda pigged out.
I had three of those biscuits they bring out at the beginning... then I had shrimp nachos as an appetizer. (Which I shared with a friend.
) For the main course I had the seaside trio thing I mentioned before... so for the 3 dishes I had ginger salmon, shrimp Alfredo and brown butter shrimp. I also asked for a scallop skewer on the side.
The server who brought out my dish, looked at my plate and said "wow this is hardcore" lol. At the beginning I was like oh I'll get dessert too at the end, but turned out I was too damn full.
When you make salmon, do you usually have it with something else? Like rice or veggies?
I don't really have a fav burger, when I go to a restaurant it all tastes pretty much the same to me. But generic fast food wise, I prefer Harvey's burgers over say a Mcdonalds burgers. Not a huge fan of McDonalds... especially their burgers. I think they are so overrated, but they have the best marketing so there you go.
Nope I don't like coffee and I don't like tea either.

Out of this list (discounting how they used to look when they were younger) I currently don't have interest in any. Only Karlie and Erin from time to time.
You should add Cara D. I think she's a very annoying model that has done very well. She often makes funny faces in her gigs- the other day I saw her as the face of a watch store.
To give you a sense of what I dont like, I'll make a list of popular/ somewhat popular models that I just don't find all that beautiful or interesting. Yes some of these names are big time supermodels, so obviously they have something that got them this far but again not my taste. I know Carlos likes Alessandra and you like Hilary, sorry guys haha
Karlie Kloss
Behati Prinsloo
Lily Aldridge
Chrissy Teigen
Samantha Hoopes
Erin Heatherton
Coco Rocha
Hilary Rhoda
Alessandra Ambrosio
Gisele Bundchen
I think only this one looks like him, but also not quite.
For example, these are some of the guys that get the young leo look alike remarks a lot. The Dancing with the Stars guy (aka the third pic) looks nothing like leo but all you need is blonde hair and a boyish look to get told you look like young Leo. Some of the others I can see a bit of resemblance.
![]()
There aren't many comparisons and look alikes when it comes to the modern day Leo though, or atleast not as many as the young Leo comparisons.

That's interesting, why is that? I have a tendency to do the popular models- it is not entirely due to how much I like them 100% but also due to the fact that they get lots of work- and most obviously the higher profile shoots. I like lots of less successful models as well but since they don't get the jobs it becomes difficult to remember that they model....!
Oh wow, I couldn't have guessed that. I had always assumed that those who populate the leo thread got their fix from "Titanic!". I still remember hearing of girls watching that movie 3, 4, 5, 6 times. This was before the internet, where anybody can download a cam and just re-watch portions or preview a film.
With the 'baby thing' I am pushing 30 but I can still pass for a 20 year old. The reason is that I haven't aged much facially yet and also I am thin. I have one noticable wrinkle on my face and it is small. The trick is to wear T shirt and shorts- I run risk of being carded for buying 18, 21 + items just for doing that.
When it comes to models, all I know is that I get bored of the popular faces very fast and these days I'm more interested in newbies/ relative newbies. When a model gets too popular it's kinda like a turn off for me, which may sound weird. It's pretty rare that I'll venture into a big time model's thread.
Maybe when I was l pre-teen I might have had a crush on Lucky, but just as well maybe not. Back in the 10-13 age bracket I was really into Justin Timberlake. I never crushed hardcore on leo in his Titanic days, it's only in 2007 that I became interested in Leo and he was already in his thirties at that point. (Leo is 40 now by the way) But yes, Lucky is way too young for me to like now, he's a baby at 16.In my teenage years, all the guys I crushed on were NBA players. I had a massive crush on Carmelo Anthony. I remember back in the day making it my goal in life to watch every single Denver Nuggets games so that I could see his face lol. The love was strong lol. Currently, I kinda like Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls. However, it's pretty rare for me to get huge crushes on guys these days.
And yes, I've always read that young girls like boys with softer features as they find them less intimidating.
In terms of basketball players, I've always thought that Michael Jordan (besides being a good player) was the most charismatic looking. His looks are the type that is handsome both to men and women. He basically had an actor/model look and look of a "charismatic leader". I find it interesting that you had crushes on B-ball players- in Europe/South America it is clearly the soccer (or 'futbol'/football as they call it) players.
I guess you don't find US football players that attractive? Too much gear, too many muscles?
With actresses I like the personality of some but find them generally demolished in terms of epic beauty by the modeling industry. Being a successful hollywood actress is more than just looks. I first like models when I was very small- simply put, I liked the women that populated Vogue and women's magazines. I remember having a liking for Cindy Crawford after seeing one of the movies she was in. I think I was only 7 or 8 years old at the time.

Lol no worries.
That's a good question!!!! I have no idea!
Not to worry, I only ask because it got me thinking about the one and only time it's ever happened over here. Way back in the olden days (well, 2004), Wimbledon's football/soccer team moved 80 miles up the road to Milton Keynes and became known as MK Dons. They tried to claim the history of Wimbledon as their own, but had to stop later on when the original fans, who were upset about their team moving away, boycotted the club. The fans went on to form a new team, AFC Wimbledon, who started at the lowest level of the game but have since worked their way up to the professional leagues. The two teams had their first ever meeting last year and as you can probably imagine, it was pretty fiery stuff. I was wondering if there'd ever been a similar situation on your side of the pond. ![]()
Is that Dane De Haan in the above pic? He was great in 'Chronicle'. ![]()
