Yeah, it's a big deal here because it's in Toronto. Over a year ago they had already started selling Pam Am memorabilia all over the place, In particular those pan Am mascots, (Pachi is its name I believe) that's how I knew that this was going to be/is a major event.And the guy sounded so worried and upset about it
I saw the Pan American Games are being held in Toronto now
How's the atmosphere about it? Is it kind of a big deal?
I don't really care about it though, haven't paid attention to it.... Just know bits and pieces when I'm in the same room as a news report on Television. I know that the Mayor of Toronto, stupidly got Kanye West to perform for the closing ceremony.... Because he thought he was Canadian. How the hell did the mayor assume that, clearly he is out of the loop in that regard. I have no problem with Kanye performing, my only qualm is he should have done his research better

Most of what I see on the runway looks cartoonish, and downright bad in my eyes. I Do recall Eilie Saab and Dolce & Gabbana being one of the only designers who consistently have their models looking pretty... makeup and hair wise and also the clothing actually looks normal and atleast somewhat aesthetically pleasing. Maybe I'll add Chanel in there too.... But to a lesser extent.Have you gotten a chance to yet or aren't interested? My favorite new model is Ondaria Hardin. She and Lauren de Graaf were amazing!

Yeah I've noticed a resemblance between vita and Toni. I like Vita one hundred times better though.
And yeah Brigitte and Anna is a big one too. I think Brigitte has more of a softness to her, I like Anna.... but she has this somewhat tough girl, edgy look to her. Her lack of eyebrows at times, further enhances this look to a degree. She can even look a tad bit masculine, facial wise, sometimes. Normally I'm not into that, but it works for her because she has a feminine and sexy body.
I have to take a look at Niamh, I know the name but I can't put a face to the name.
Edit, I can see a little resemblance between Niamh and Sasha. Nothing major though.
^ Pan-am games can come and go TBH, i've never had a big interest in them but they do draw a crowd wherever they are held.
The last few years or so are when TSN, CBC and whoever else started really mentioning it so more people are drawn in now, but at least for me i know it's mostly a

I go shopping every friday and I notice that months old prints of Ieva Laguna and Edita are heavy used by some brands. Ieva's thread barely moves but she is still there. She does CK sports and some other brands. Xenia Deli is frequently featured for BEBE and Marciano.

Daria Webowy- who has aged quickly- is the face of some brands too like Salvatore Ferragamo.
Hanna Ferguson is used as a face for a lingerie store (the brand name escapes me- Soma intimates or is it something else?).
I like the women's selection for Club Monaco. The men's clothing is selected well, too:

I feel the same way and I only save stuff from a couple of shows. The rest look like they are more interested in showing off the conceptual skill of the designer rather than producing anything wearable.
And there's often those shows with obvious 'shock' antics.
Vita looks like a softer/younger/smaller version of Toni. And more feminine.
Anna Ewers has a brow shape. Brigette and Lara Stone have more star power to me though.
I liked the trailer of the Revenant. It looks like an Apocolypto type movie.

You told me about another group where both individuals have beards and I think the drummer's last name was Beard and we thought that was funny because he's the only one without a beard. Then you said someone was going to pay them to shave the beards and they said no. I can picture them, but the name is escaping me nowHahaha yes, I told you about them

but from what you said... Looks like not much Yeah I believe Hannah works for Soma intimates... I was just looking at one of her lingerie vids a couple days ago and I believe it was for that brand. She also works for Triumph.
Club Monaco, is one store I rarely hear about or see ads for. I know we have/had those stores here though.
I haven't been inside a PINK store in awhile nor have I visited her thread in like forever, but I can just imagine. Seeing as how Elsa moved to mainline, I take it she's the go to girl now.

Yeah PINK is the downgrade compared to mainline. However, she has this sweet, young looking face and a slight build that she kinda screams PINK to me. Although her booty is what should be the norm for mainline models. She sets a certain standard in that regard.You're welcome

Ieva's contract seems to be continuing with brands such as CK. She is still being used in various storefronts or department store displays. These are very old photos of her. But her TFS/BZ threads are basically dead for a very long time (little activity over the past 2 years).
Ieva is also the face of SEPHORA storefronts right now. She looks great but I can't find that particular billboard. She looks high class, very lovely & sexy.
