I've always liked Yulia, I think she's very pretty. What do you think of Yulia Rose?

Several rave over here here but I find her dull and throwaway. She is objectively pretty like a porcelain doll but has very little character as a model to me. She also looks too teenaged/15 year old ish.

Oh, and Charlotte: She has a uniquely sexual body but her face doesn't work most of the time like Carlos said. Still, I keep coming back to that thread due to that body and how she amuses me!! :-p (not so much in a fan sort of way, but mainly because she does funny things). She really shouldn't have gotten that nosejob.
Edit, just realized you provided a link to the SI thread. ![]()
In regards to Charlotte, I never took the opportunity to watch any of her interviews so I know nothing of her personality. However, seeing as how she appears to be a Kate Upton 2.0 then I would think she'd have that sinilar sort of goofy personality and judging by what you said looks like she does.
Looks wise, I just know I'd take Charlotte over Samantha Hoopes.... like I've told you before Samantha's fake body parts prevent me from liking her physically. ![]()

I think I may have enough outfits for several weeks wear, but most of what I have I don't even wear. I have a few items that I regularlg wear and the rest just sit there in the closet or the drawers. You must have lots of outfits- enough for two months or more? I only have outfits for 2 weeks, so after a while I'm sure that everybody is familiar with what I'm wearing. Yea, i don't stink at all- I'm 100% sure of it!!
I think that teacher of yours saw his clothes as a uniform it seems. That makes sense, I guess. I dress mainly to impress others but otherwise I have zero interest in shopping. It's funny that when I do shop, I mainly just observe the decor and the items. I find the women's clothing more interesting than the men's (LOL).
With Uniqlo I went there again since I last mentioned it. I think if you get a chance, you'd find something useful in there. What stands out is the huge array of colors for generic utility items. The place also has a wide selection of things which makes me understand its rising success. If I want green underwear, I can get it at Uniqlo!
With the Japanese and their fashion, what stands out to me is their tendency to wear a lot of different colors instead of the generic ones in the US. Also, with menswear they like very tight-fitting clothes which is not the case here, either. And in Uniqlo I found the fabrics to be quite Japanese as well- the japanese like soft fabrics on their skin and not the coarser fabrics in the west.
I may be wrong but that's the impression I have always had.
Yes, also with shoes I have only a few and for utility reasons. I only use half a dozen regularly. To me, I don't believe that people look at my feet....they will notice the clothes on my body but the I should be able to get away with the shoes.
Oh how wrong you are Steph. You should wear heels (I know they are uncomfortable). It would make you look more attractive to men, especially with your legs <3.
No, they are not that common. What is very common in malls across the country are big box retailers like Sears, Macy's, Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Niemann Marcus. These are often the centerpieces of the shopping center.
With women's clothing/cosmetics I think it is often meant more to impress other women. Most men do not have much fashion sense or standards. A woman only needs to be at a certain standard and beyond that it is not very noticeable.
Also, the other day I saw a high end cosmetics store using a half naked male model to 'encourage' women to go inside. He was very pretty, was quite tan and had very sculpted muscles/ abs. I found it quite amusing :-D
You certainly pay more attention to fashion and colours than I do, I can't even think of anything that would be worthwhile adding to the discussion lol. But I do enjoy hearing your views on the subject. ![]()
Haha, to be honest... I'm not all that concerned about attracting men lol.
Yes, here Sears, Neiman Marcus are big. I'm aware of Macy's, I've been to the States several times but we don't have it here. However, with the way things are going we probably will. So many major American stores have made its way into Canada. Some not so successful, for example Target has only been in Canada for two years, and already they are closing all its stores here. Target just can't compete with Walmart here so it failed. Even Sears has closed down ALOT of its stores but they still technically exist still... Target is officially history here.
And yes agree, sometimes women probably dress up a certain way to impress other women... as men probably won't even notice a specific outfit they are wearing or how they've done their make up. ![]()

Oh yeah, I have more than 2 weeks- It's just the clothing that I deem worth wearing. The rest I gave up on.
Haha, to be honest... I'm not all that concerned about attracting men lol.
What does this mean? ![]()
Yeah with fashion I think it's taken to extremes (you can see this in TFS most obviously) with fashionistas trying to stay trendy every season. But I doubt that those that are not fashion-oriented would have any clue if they are a season outdated or not..

Just means I'm not all that concerned about attracting men like some would be.Oh yeah, I have more than 2 weeks- It's just the clothing that I deem worth wearing. The rest I gave up on.

Yeah, I would have no idea what's gone out of season. However, most of what I wear is pretty basic, and the basic styles tend to never go out of style..... Like a simple T shirt or cardigan.... but what do I know ![]()
And yes sometimes me and a few people will go to the discount outlet malls... where the brand name stuff is cheaper. However, it's obviously because these things have "gone out of season" however we don't care and we figure most people couldn't tell the difference either.
And I think some can tell the difference between the expensive brands and the less expensive ones even though there's no actually brand logo enlightening one. However, I can never tell the difference. I can't even tell the difference between actual clothing quality.... unless it's really obvious.
I don't think I'd like being around these serious fashionista types lol.

I think out of the big box stores, Nordstrom has pretty nice clothes for women with a very big array. Lots of lots of nice dresses with good taste and the type that would really make a woman look much more beautiful. Niemen Marcus I'm not sure yet; I know with menswear it's not that good stylistically (rip off store) that stocks up $300 pants and $200 shirts that look pretty ordinary. It's probably much better with womenwear. I should check next time.
Yea with clothing it's about how good it looks and not really the brand. With the material to me I prefer if it is soft on the skin so I don't like jeans at all.
I don't like logos- I find it insulting that manufacturers would use their customers as advertisements!!! Tommy Hilfiger has nice casual clothes but that logo of his has to go.
So do you wear flashy dresses? what type of dresses do you like to wear?

Yeah when it comes to clothes I don't like there to be any writing on it, or even any fancy patterns.
And yeah when it comes to logos, I'm not wearing Nike shirts with the "swoosh" on the front. Actually I don't wear Nike, Under armour or Addidas period. When it comes to logo's I don't mind the TnA sign though (Aritzia brand) it's a popular store, but they are so darn expensive. But with so many wearing it, I actually went out and purchased a few things from there. The popularity sucked me in but also I like the merchandise there. Though it's been a long time since I've bought anything there.
I've never bought anything from Neiman Marcus, I don't know why I feel it's a men's store.... maybe I'm thinking of Holt Renfrew lol.
I don't wear dresses.
The only time I will wear a dress is at a wedding and I rarely go to weddings.... so I think the last dress I wore in public was 6 years ago when I went to New York for my cousins wedding. ![]()

Neiman Marcus has both. At least in the US there is generally a big cosmetics section in the front. ![]()
I am not aware of Aritzia or Holt Renfrew. :-p
Oh you should wear dresses especially during the summer! In the winter I understand. Outside of utility needs, women simply look better in dresses, there is no comparison!
What do you think of Victoria's secret products? Do you prefer other underwear brands? VS has been considered overpriced & poor quality for lingerie. I'm not sure what the appeal of PINK is supposed to be yet. It looks like mostly sleeping clothes for indoors.

^ I think Holt Renfrew is a Canadian brand.... It's a very high end, luxury type store. I thought they had Aritzia in the States too, but maybe it's Canadian as well. ![]()
I personally don't care about looking better, I wear what makes me comfortable. ![]()
I dont buy undergarments at VS, too expensive for my liking. I have a few pajamas from there though, but I got them as gifts.
in regards to underwear... I don't really care what brand it is as long as it's reasonably priced. I think PINK is targeted to the young girls who want to be comfy and casual, but still trendy. I used to buy clothes from there when I was a big younger. Actually I still have some big, jogging pants from there that I still wear. I just probably wouldn't go out and buy anymore because I feel like I'm too old for the brand now. ![]()

Oh, lol and. with men's underwear I just get whatever. There is no difference, really.
They probably have stores here but I just haven't seen them yet. ![]()

I'm trying to google and see if Aritzia is strictly a Canadian store, but I'm not seeing anything stating that so im thinking you guys have it in the States. So next time you are at the mall or something, the name should stick out to you since you are now aware of it's existence. ![]()

oh thanks Steph <3 ![]()
I checked google maps and lol there are 3 locations close to me.
Also, Bree models for it !!!

Oh I had no idea Bree Smith modelled for them, learned something new.oh thanks Steph <3

I became aware of the company when I was 18/19.... That's when I was seeing the TnA logo everywhere... Especially the bags. Everyone had s TnA bag.... These days that specific bag has obviously gone out of style since so much time has passed. Actually in some malls there is a seperate TnA store apart from Aritzia. Kind of reminds me of the VS and Pink seperate store scenario.

So I just took a pic of my bag lol. I still have it and actually it's the bag I still currently use for sleepovers, back in the day I would take it too school... those bags were always such a nuisance on the bus because they are so freaking big
But yes, this is the bag that every teen/ twenty something used to have lol, but it came in a variety of different colours.

TnA...never heard of that either. To me (in the US) this is the stereotypical bag. It was popular in mid- late 2000s:
Frankly I don't like the pattern at all and I think it's tacky. Somehow these are bidded up to $$ 4 figures. It gets pretty cheese when so many women have one, or have knock-offs:

Carlos, yes true... most people would only pay attention to those sports come Olympics time.... me I never pay attention whether it's olympics time or not lol
My guess would be because the league itself is known to have a lot of lesbian players. Makes sense. It's just like a lot of the men in the modelling world tend to be gay. (Not all but I'm talking higher percentages than usual) A lot of fans of male models tend to be gay too, not all and definitely not all WNBA fans are lesbians either but a big portion of the fan base is.
Lol yeah, I thought you would remember Chyna. She was everywhere at one point... wonder what she's up to these days because I never hear of her anymore.
Ah I see, Subway is another chain that's taking over the world.
![]()
What other sports you enjoy watching besides basketball?
Ah that makes sense. Another thing I didn't know
I noticed most of the fans of male models were gay, no idea that was common among them too.
Yes, I remember her, but very, very vaguely. No idea what she's up to today. The only one from that era who's still relevant is The Rock ![]()
Hahaha it is! Actually, worldwide Subway has more restaurants than McDonald's.

Yeah I agree it does look tacky when everyone starts wearing the exact same things Lol ![]()

However, the only other sporting event I will watch and really pay attention is during the FIFA World Cup.. which is every four years of course lol. I started watching in 2006 and then every one after that.
Yeah, The Rock has done AMAZING! His longevity is impressive because he started off as such a gimmicky figure and even his appearance kinda limits him into particular roles, so it's amazing people didn't get tired of it after all these years. Cool to see!!
Oh wow Subway has more restaurants worldwide than McDonalds? I would have never guessed it ![]()
So do you think the Warriors will take the championship tommorrow? I predict yes. ![]()

Oh and ANdy this is the famous logo, you can probably make out the same logo on the bag I posted.
Excuse, the sideways pics.... for whatever reason the pics I take always come out sideways ![]()
It's funny because so many people think TnA stands for Tits and Ass.... However it actually stands for Talula National Athletics lol.
Oh and back to Yulia Rose, I knew of her for a couple years now, but some time last year she really caught my attention because she posted a video of Leo on her Vine account. He was lifting some statue. She's friends with Leo and Leo's friends. People who don't know leo can say whatever they want about him but the people who actually meet him just love him. Barbara Palvin and Nina Agdal consider him their friends too and Theyve said wonderful things about him.

The NBA is the only sport I watchAnd like I mentioned to you before, I started watching in 2001 up until about 2006 maybe 2007. Then between 2007 and 2014 I completely stopped watching and paying attention, it was a drastic switch because I used to be so obsessed. But now as you can tell my love of the NBA has returned haha.
However, the only other sporting event I will watch and really pay attention is during the FIFA World Cup.. which is every four years of course lol. I started watching in 2006 and then every one after that.

Hahaha I definitely can tell
And with the Raptors doing good again it makes perfect sense.
Being such an exceptional event I'm not surprised you pay attention to the World Cup. The first one I saw was in 1998, the first one after some time with Chile in it. And considering as I told you how football centered is the sports mind here, I had no choice but to get interested on it that year.
It's actually surprising how good he has done! Now that I remember, I saw Stone Cold in a movie not long ago
He definitely hasn't been as successful as The Rock though.
I'm not sure about venturing predictions, but I want the Warriors to win
The Cavs look tired though, so it's quite possible the can't hold up against GS tomorrow. The short rotation is not helping them, which of course has to do with injured key players.

^ soccer is not that huge here.... but during the World Cup it's massive here. You see so many people with flags of their countries on their cars. Portugal, Italy, Poland etc etc. when I'm in the car, i'm just looking at all the different flags and if we don't know one we are all asking eachother OK what Country is that one. It's an interesting atmosphere.
I have no idea who Stone Cold is lol, so yeah he must be nothing next to The Rock haha.
So is that a Warriors prediction? Come on be decisive lol ![]()
Do you find Lebron arrogant? I was watching an NBA segment just now and they were discussing Lebron's recent comments on him stating that he's the best. They were saying that Lebron should let his game do the talking and he should show more humility. ![]()
