Yeah the media likes to squeeze what they can out of a big news story until the very last drop. 
The Raptors seem to be getting some good players then. I hope they'll do better this season.
Oh and Ginóbili is coming back for another season too!!

Duncan, Parker and Ginobilli have been on the Spurs since forever.
Good thing they have Kawai and now LaMarcus and Wesley.... because they need to build a good team for the future when those guys retire. Plus, in general it'll do them good to have younger legs

By the looks of it they're building a great team again. They'll probably be advancing a god deal on the next playoffs.

Bot surprised these guys want to go to the Spurs, winning franchise over the years..... Plus the fact that those veterans and the coach have stayed there for so many years speaks volumes!
I don't like the Spurs though, I never have for some reason, so I don't want them to win another championship. Nothing against the Spurs, but I want to see a new team build a winning franchise.
Well everyone figured that David Lee woudnt stay with the Warriors. Now it's official, David traded to the Celtics for Gerald Wallace. Hopefully, Lee gets the playing time he wants 
^ So he was traded then. I thought he would stay with the Warriors. Still most of the team will remain there I guess. After so great results it wouldn't make sense making many changes.

It's truly amazing what that team has achieved. It's not common at all to see a team being such a hug presence for that long.

There were articles before and after the playoffs that Lee wouldn't stay. Lee had to give up his starting position, he wasn't getting much playing time. He was one of the longest tenured Warriors.... so they kind of owed him to trade him and give him an opportunity to get the playing time he deserves. He got his championship, now it's time to get the minutes
Would be nice to see a new team win... but if I had to choose between the Spurs and Warriors winning... I'll go with the Warriors aka the Dubs

^ Outside of the Raptors, I'm not rooting for any specific teams, just any team that's considered the underdog over the last 15 years or so which is a good portion of the league.

There's actually a lot of teams that haven't done much in a long time. I can immediately think of the Kings, Hornets, Suns...

Lol. And yeah looks like it's official... Deandre is returning to the Clippers this is a rare event that a player who verbally agreed to join a team in free agency backs out! 
Well Clippers fans must be happy... Mavs fans want to kick Deandre's ass. 
It's also kind of an eye opener to the league, kinda rough to think you got a guy and they change their mind at the last second. Like I said, this rarely happens... hopefully it continues to be a rare thing after this.

That's what I saw. Has this happened before? It seemed pretty sure 2 or 3 days ago he was going to sign with the Clippers. Again, all these free agency situations can get so confusing . It reminds me of all the drama around Howard a couple of years ago.

Storm, you meant to say Mavs right? this has happened before apparently. I heard one of the reporters mention something about 1999 and a situation with the suns. Can't remember the players name though. It's probably happened even after 1999 but it's not a common occurrence.

I saw the Pan American Games are being held in Toronto now How's the atmosphere about it? Is it kind of a big deal?
^ Pan-am games can come and go TBH, i've never had a big interest in them but they do draw a crowd wherever they are held.
The last few years or so are when TSN, CBC and whoever else started really mentioning it so more people are drawn in now, but at least for me i know it's mostly a 
kinda thing
