as far as i'm concerned a post with a bunch of "User Posted Image"s on there only makes the page look crappy 
Should we put a limit on Avatar sizes? I think Tabens 1.5mb avatar is a bit much, think of the 56kers! (does anyone still use modems

I went and deleted some post w/ dead picts links. I triple checked them to make sure they are dead (Y) I also edited some post w/ partial dead pict links.
I have an unrelated question. When you delete something is it gone for good? Cause I read somewhere it is, but we have a thread tomb here, so I am totally confused

if you edit, there gone forever. If you delete they go to thread tomb

I might as well come out and say it...I am a hater of animated avatars and sigs. So you know my vote on that crap.
the exact reason why i was against making the avi's larger 
uh going from a 9kb file to a 10kb file could make less of a diffrence. Even at 128px moving avatars have been getting progressivly more complex (and thus lot bigger).
And once im done with the avatar thing, your 400kb sig gotta go next

I vote no, keep it the way it is. Apart from you guys, I just haven't seen many complaints about it.
Of course you won't. People don't usually complain about such things...they usually grumble in silence. Especially the lurkers and guests...but also the members.
They always have the option to remove avatars when reading posts in the "My Controls" area.
