sorry guys I have not fixed a lot of the little bugs that are on the board. I still want to fix them but we are gonna do a big upgrade soon (IPB3.0 but dont tell no one ) which will have great features like multi-image uploads (instead of the current one by one) and some other nice stuff. Supposedly its out early next year so spending a huge amount of time fixing something that will be replaced in a couple weeks may not be ideal.

^ That's great But are there guarantees no new problems will arise when we update the board? History has shown everytime we update the board a new problem, in addition to some of the older ones, occurs. And often, no one who is able to fix the problem is here enough to resolve the issues It is quite frustrating for not only me, but members as well

most of the issues right now I believe are caused because we have 2 different systems running the board. I am considering buying one really powerful one and consolidating it back to how it use to be. I don't believe IPB was intended to run on a multi system configuration.

Anyways maybe ill take a look this weekend to see if i can fix at least the search issue which is pretty annoying.

Hey, Qbal reminded me of an interresting point, but now I'm confused . What all females should have their topics in General Babe Discussion, besides weather girls, of course . Some pageant girls are in models, some in General Babe...some glamour models in models...some in General Babe...Can someone give me a defined list of criteria ?

Yeah, that's a good question. I've always been confused about that ever since I became a mod here.

My opinion is that ALL models (be it fashion models, glamour girls, whatever) should have their threads in the Models section, so that Laetitia Casta and, say, Keeley Hazell both belong in the same section of the forum. I know this might sound weird to some of you since each of us may have a different opinion on this (and I can definitely understand standpoints other than mine here), but we really need to sort this out. Either we place ONLY fashion models in the Models section OR we use General Babe Discussion only for girls from reality shows, TV persons, or celebs for no particular reason (like Paris Hilton or Nicole Richie). Because in the end, glamour girls like Lucy Pinder or Vida Guerra are also MODELS - not in the catwalk sense and everything, but still - they get paid for their photoshoots and so on and aren't just attention whores like Miss Hilton.

What do you guys think?

I've used google search myself now that our own search function doesn't work. Perhaps we could suggest that to our members until the search function issue gets resolved?

I actually like the fact that we keep glamour models and (high-)fashion models separated. Even though sometimes they make forays into each others territory. But on the whole, it's easy to figure out who belongs where. Keeley, Lucy Pinder, et all belong in general babes. Girls like Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian too.

It's our miscellaneous category, really.

In the end it seems more like a debate about the merits of individual girls than an actual improvement to the forum... What I mean is that some people seem to take it as a slight when one of their favorites gets moved to general babes. It's not. I've created several threads for girls in general babes and I don't consider them less worthy of attention or praise than those in the model subcategory.

What I do think that after years of applying these categories, suddenly changing them up might lead to more confusion, and for no real good reason.

Although Glamour models are technically models too, I do not believe they should be put in the same category as fashion models like Heidi Klum. Putting Laeticia Casta and Keeley Hazell in the same category to me is just wrong I have nothing against Glamour models, but I do not see the logic of putting them in the Models section. It like grouping all minority races together in a communoty <---that is the closest comparison I can think of

Perhaps we should change the title of the section to "Fashion Models" to make it more clear And we could also create a new section called "Misc. Babes" or something like that to make topics easier to access. That would require some work, but very do-able

Sounds good to me . Sounds more specific and organized . And of course not to say glamour modeling isn't great legit modeling by any means, but I'm for anything more specific and more easily searchable. Plus anytime you start a hip hop or glamour model thread in "models" half of the thread is about whether she's a model... ...whether she should be in the section ... "she'll never make it in fashion" ... ...So re-titling the other "fashion models" and making a "general babes" or such sounds good to me .

^Yeah, sounds like a good idea to me. It will also help keep threads on specific celebs separate from general threads like "The Bosom" and others, which will make it easier to browse the forum.
