In looking at the Lozere maps, I understand now what they will do with the expansion "Blood and Wine" after  looking at the pictures and the intros.  The world building will be based on Lozere except with wine vineyards!

This reminds me that one day I have to spend serious time.. studying geography and visiting every US state.

the Red Inn sounds like a fun two hours or so trip.  The Beast of G sounds a lot like how mythological "Jack the Ripper" is to London.

What  are the best parts of France for the tourist and for settling down?  "Settling down to the South of France" is a bit a trope.

I can say that NYC metro area stinks to live but is good for vacation.

Well, the place is very rich in place to see ...But it ask lots of time, because you simply have to go there in walking ...

A bit farer north you will find the Auvergne, and its death Volcanos:

You won't find this in the US i think.

And about the Beast of the Gévaudan, the number of victims is bigger than for Jack...It's not the same thing simply.

Well, the best parts is HARD to say ...Basically the whole coutry make a good place to visit. It actually depend of what you like, and what money you are ready to spend

Paris, of course...but it's a bit "messy" i would say  If you like to live downtown, Nantes or Bordeaux are great, life is sweet there. Avoid the NORTH of the country, the place is the only one of the county who is neither beautiful or interesting to live. My mother come from thee so i can say that lol Massif central is great, if you like big space, and old stones. Lyon and Nice are good towns as well, the whole Côte d'Azure is pretty cool, especially in summer. But there's so many places to mention all of them  Corse is beautiful, and very quit too !

Many english are living in the Midi and Provence, i would say, between Montpellier and Aix-en-Provence...

All depend if you like more Towns, or nature. More Mountains or beachs ...

La Place Stanislas from Nancy is known to be one of the prettiest of the country. Nancy is great itself, even if i'm not a big fan of the Alsace-Lorraine

Les Châteaux de la Loire are a must see too ...

I forgot so many place, known, or less known ...

@peroxideblonde He actually has a very good voice! The flying thru the stars stage production was pretty cool And I hope Russia learns that you can't buy peoples votes with a "fancy" stage production

I was cheering for the Netherlands but no luck for me

lol, That was written in sarcasm- there is a stereotype of french women not washing so often in the US

The blonde seems to wash her hair twice or three times a week, because I can smell her hair oils 5 ft. away.

The thing with stereotypes is that they tend to have kernels of truth to them ;-p   I was wondering.  I had found out, and could tell anyway- that she seems to under strain and chronically under-sleeping, which could effect her routines.

Is the Witcher blood and wine based on the south of france?  I asked her about the region and she described it as full of vineyards and farms, and very beautiful.  The organization of the land is apparently very good.

We have a saying here : Il n'y a pas de fumée sans feu, which mean basically, there is no smoke without fire ... Well, America must be really on fire seeing the number of stereotypes we have over here about Americans

I wouldn't say that this way, but i guess it's not way worse than elsewhere ... But they're changing it these days.  Mergers and reorganizations ...

Anyway, i feel this country must know some big changements by 2017, just a feeling lol
