How far are you willing to let your partner go with someone else? (as in ... what line must he/she have crossed for it to be considered .. cheating!?)

Um, I can't imagine myself in an open-relationship because I'm so stuck on monogamy... I'm selfish, and for the same reasons I probably am unlikely to have a threesome, an orgy, or anything of the sort.. I just don't like the idea of open-relationship for myself...

well, to take a page from the cheating thread (oh, you already did that, literally), an open relationship is much better than a cheating relationship. I mean, cheating is only bad because both people don't approve of it. if both people approve of having sex with other people, then it's fine.

well, of course, it's usually not fine, but at least it's more honest.

but no, I don't see the point. seriously, I'm not so insecure that I think I can't get someone hotter than the person I'm with that isn't satisfying me. if she's not doing it for me, then why are we together?

what about ... just accepting the fact that some people like to be with more people at once or married people want to make their marriages more interesting.

I suppose it's fine if both people want to do it. I remember when MySpace started, half the people listed were in 'open relationship' status. now that the average age has dropped to like 11, not so many people are anymore

makes sense... But what about threesomes... The rule for men is not to pay any attention to the other girl, if your doing it with a girl and your girlfriend/wife whatever. That's fucked up. The whole point of the threesome is to get to do another girl, but the guy can't so much as look at her without his signifigant otehr throwing a fit and getting all hurt and shit... If you already went as far as to get naked with your guy, and another girl...why can't you follow through with it...
