The 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Pinned

To me the last good show was in 2013.

Last 3 years, especially 2014 and 2015 were awful in every way.

2012 was the last great show to me. But I have to say that I'm younger than most people here and I started getting into VS in 2010. So I never got attached to "the golden era", though I do have favorites of this time.

I'm younger too, first show i watch was 2009, then i search about and watch the past shows and realize how "the golden era" was more glamorous and beautiful. 

Also i always have a problem with music, because i'm not the biggest fan of pop music and the performers always annoying me (esp. Taylor Swift), and the golden era represents the good remixes and good musical guest(in my opinion).

P.S: i just want a commercial with Jimmy Hendricks music again, am i asking too much VS??

Even though it was straight out of the City of Light for the first time and filled with loads of Lady Gaga, the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (2.1/7) just could not pack on the ratings weight last night. In fact, the lingerie catwalk show hit a new low among adults 18-49.

Victoria’s dirty secret is that the ratings are down 9% in the key demo from 2015’s previous low. Viewershipwise, this year’s VSFS had 6.65 million eyeballs, basically the same as the 6.6 million who watched last year. 

But the ratings are only about tv, not streaming right. That was the whole discussion, that nobody watches tv anymore. 

Circus segment of 2012 was enough to make it one of the greatest shows for me, personally. Karlie and Liu Wen looked so good there. 

@Ludivine08 That excuse doesn't make sense anymore, that is only one part of the reasons ratings are all time low, not the only culprit. Second part is VS fault.

Sure, I agree about that. 

I don't understand the hate on 2014, it's one of my favorites, The editing wasn't half as rushed as this year's is

It's hard to say when was the last great show because every show has some good and bad qualities. But in terms of true greatness where outfits, music, set, models everything was just perfect was 2005. You just can't top it. Even though years like 06,08,10,11,14 were good also but there was also some bad. I really loved 2011, after 05 it's the best because it had a good blend of musicians and model focus. I also didn't mind 2014 because it felt great in London and everything and I liked the themes minus Exotic Traveler and now it was the last show where angels had 3 looks so I miss that. And the editing was good they didn't overdo it.

Yup, altough some 05 outfits are questionable

2001 was the best for me however 2015 had the best opening

Why is VS going to want older viewers when the lingerie they sell are for a younger target? I mean i dont see people over 50 wearing VS anymore (maybe before the 2010, but not now)

The 18-49 demographic is crucial because they have the most disposable income and ability to make multiple purchases over and over again. A 16 year old most likely doesn't have a career allowing the type of income that allows frequent shopping. I would even push it as far as 30-45 is a crucial demographic considering many 18-29s are underemployed or unemployed these days.

the most crucial is 18-49, then 18-34 and then 25-54

So, how much longer do you think CBS is going to stick with the show? Perhaps cut it out of TV and do straight up streaming on the internet? 

I just watched the show. And I must say less is more. It's too many girls.

The Road Ahead Elsa opening was great (but still can't stand Dragon The Bill). She has a lot of energy, charisma. Strong walk. I hate her outfit. I'm only worried about her face. Elsa looks different lately. Something with her face, lips.. Idk.

Maria was stunning. This girl has insane body and lovely smile. Hope VS keep her. I really like Cindy too, her legs are amazing. Liu, Ming and Lais were just nice. I'm not fan of Barbara F but she seems so cute. What a nice girl. Her walk was good.

Jas, Gigi, even Ale were forgottable. I hope not to see Kendull again. Her body is okay but her face is so average. And these lips. Awful. 

Mountain Romance Jo opening was just okay. She seems really tired. Her eyes. She needs some rest, some sleep. Sanne Vloet doesn't fit VS. I hope it's her last show. Lily A should go. She ages so much. She looks like a mother of many girls.. Not a fan of Zuri too. Love Sui she's beautiful. And I'm the only person who is glad that Lily D gets the Swarovski wings. She's stunning. Her walk is different but she belongs to HF. Iza bores me I want something new. She's perfect for VS but she should go (same reasones as Lily A). I really like Stella outfit but I'm not sure she's good material for an Angel. Sara should replace Adriana. They're look alike. I like Romee but her tan and boobs look so fake. Rest of blond girls in this segment was boring.

Pink Nation This segment has so much energy but these outfits.. I'm not sure. Most of girls was forgottable. Alana has some charisma but for me she doesn't fit VS. Luma. What a disaster. Who hire her? Dilone was fun but she is okay only for Pink. All these blonds forgottable. Again.

 Dark Angel/Secret Angel Adrianna is queen of VS but she should go now. Her outfits are terrible. Somebody hates her. Bella was tragic. One of the best outfits and this girl or zombie maybe. Her walk was dead, her face is dead too. Shame. Jourdana has nice energy but she's not VS girl. Cindy, Elsa and Tylor were amazing. Ming outfit was awful too but I like her on the catwalk. Irina is just okay. I think it's her first and last time. Liu was stunning in this segment. What a star. Love it. Georgia Flower means nothing for me. Devon looks beautiful in this section. She has some potential. She's American. She should be an Angel one day. She just fits perfectly to VS. Kate G looks great. Sad she's not Angel anymore. I think this year was the best of Martha. Never be a fan of her but this year she looks really good. Her body, her face never look better. Ale should go like Iza and Adri. It's perfect VS trio but they're just too old. Go with glory girls. Joan and her big wings was amazing. I like her she so beauitful and she's HF model. VS really needs that.

Bright Night Angel Jas should open or close this segment. Poor girl. Gigi and Bella have much more screentime. VS is so stupied. I think the Fantasy Bra is quite nice and Jas was good chocie for wearing this. She's has amazing body. I like Maria, Bella nad Lily outfits. Lily and Maria shine on the catwalk. I like Jo in Swaroviski outfit. Lily A shoudn't close the whole show. Her walk is still bad. It's time to leave.
