DC, Irvine, to star in TV show

(GMM) F1 veteran David Coulthard will star in a British TV show later this year aptly called 'The Race'.

He is to appear alongside old rival Eddie Irvine, who raced 148 times for teams including Ferrari, with the reality programme to also feature celebrities fighting it out in rally cars, buggies and monster trucks.

Scotland's Coulthard will captain a girls team, and Irvine the boys.

The show, appearing on Sky One, will then climax with a race at Silverstone, home of the annual British grand prix.

''The celebs may have Porsches and Lamborghinis,'' said director Richard Woolfe, ''but it doesn't mean they can hack it on a professional grand prix circuit
