Coulthard set for Wembley
FORMULA One ace David Coulthard is again expected to lead the Scottish team in this year's Race of Champions at Wembley Stadium, writes JIM McGILL.
The Red Bull driver, who partnered former British Rally champ Alister McRae in the high-speed event which takes place on a custom-built 2000-tonne circuit laid over the Wembley grass, is already looking forward to the event.
"Last year was sensational, so it's terrific news that it will be back at Wembley again," Coulthard said. "Hopefully, if my scheduling works out, I'll be back leading the Scottish challenge."
The end-of-year event sees some of the world's fastest drivers compete against each other in identical machinery.
Seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher has already signed up for the event, which will take place on December 14.
