I guess I'll just continue with reading without answering. Dumbness won't disappear, why should we try

it's the same for me, but i tend to do too much sport and i have no energy to do my school work, and often i get injuries through stress

like today, my left leg is very painful when i walk, because I have overworked a tendon, according to my bio teacher, and that there might be tears in that area :yuckky:

well i am sure i will be able to handle my girlfriend when i eventually get one^^

I will never have the risk of doing too much sports But I at least try a bit, and that's fine. Then I can say myself "ok" when I'm eating chocolate

even as the time i post this reply, i am on my forth milk chocolate whips, which is basically chocolate case with mashmellow in it^^ i got it from my gardening job today^^

i have a huge appetite, so i always eat a lot^^ but since i do a lot of sports, i never get fat, in fact i lose weight because the food in the school is so bad..... seriously, you wouldn't believe it. <_<

i am just hoping that my leg dont give way for tomorrow's cross country race. any other things, like beating my pb, coming into the top 30 is now unrealistic..... :yuckky:

It's this work experience... I don't even get money But it's fun, I have to carry wedding gowns around, see if they fit the client etc... that's fun.

i had to do all the photocopying, books ordering + managment, and doing research for him, and which he was full of praise! i was so proud^^

1+1=2 is a fact. 'Truth' is quite another thing. It is defined and morphed by culture and history. Whereas facts remain consistent through history and cultural change.

A fact is something that is known to be true The question I have is, 'Is truth as a concept built on a set of assertions?' If so, and if all these assertions were objective and true, then truth can remain imperveious () to human subjectivity (i.e. culture and history) so long as it is interpreted correctly...I think

Well, it's not too bad wuith me either, but I'm careful (and the girls on this forum have a slight influence I don't want to be anorexic or skinny, but I wanna be still slim Which I am, thank god, to some extend )

I'm a science-buff, logical systems and the empirical method are holy to me! However, I believe that was is considered "truth" by most people is closer to the sophist definition. Most people's perception of facts is twisted and blurred by the messenger or medium that presents those facts to them. Hence why a lot of times, the 'truth' isn't the most logical consequence of the sum of all facts.
