just finished the race this afternoon, came 32nd out of 95, much better than last year's 48th, so i am pleased, despite my condition.

and i tell you, if you want to lose weight, come to my school, i can always manage to lose about 10 pounds each term.

yeah, and one of the reason i love the holidays is that i can have some good food at home and eac as much as i could without worrying how much more money i have left^^ and of cos, i need to gain back the weight i lost during school time

It requires a lot of patience and flexibility b/c deadlines pop up on you anytime. Something can be due the next day w/ only a few hours notice. If you want to go into the art area, expect to do a lot of revisions. And I do mean A LOT!!! Sometimes for one campaign you can revise sometime up to 45 times. I am not kidding. A client or one of your bosses says "no", and you have to start all over again after you just spent 2 days working on your last roughs If you are interested in account side, there is a lot of paper work and you have to deal w/ some difficult clients that aren't always understanding of your team's hard work and expertise. They just want to see the results and don't care about anything else.

One thing that is important is not to take yourself too seriously. People will be very blunt when critiquing your work. You have to learn to be strong and not take it too personally. I have been told my work is "crap" many times. At first it was pretty discouraging, but I got used to it and I learned from it so I do better next time And some of the most funniest people are in advertising. It is very rare in the business world you have people in suits working next to people in jeans and t-shirt. They are all a bunch of arrogant and blunt assholes...I mean goof balls
