I had high expectations after six years and they failed again

So much to have Tyra back in the show and they make her close the show with only a couple steps when she still has the best catwalk of them all.

They also had Candice, Barbara, Ale, Adriana, Doutzen and they make Gigi or Kate Moss or Ashley Graham open the show. What were they thinking?

Candice with a ponytail is a tragedy, Barbara all covered up is no surprise but it’s a travesty, after the wight she lost for it.

Gisele, Elsa, Izabel and Rosie missing is a huge fail.

Most of the wings are ugly, outfits are decent. Show could be way better but I can’t expect much from a brand that is closing a lot of stores.

Hate to break it to you but there's only a handful of models in top end commercial/high fashion that have great hair these days. Not including the ones who cant be bothered to maintain it a la Taylor, Grace.

I think your first sentence is the issue. You should've had low expectations. I was hoping for like the bare minimum so I was pleasantly surprised. I think too that this definitely a step in the right direction and I think this will only get better over time.

Agree! I was waiting more. After 6 years they should have done something more special.

I really did not have any expectations but I really enjoyed the show.

The real models really shined on the runway.

Cher's segment was my favorite. Vittoria looked beautiful. All the real models in that segment made me glad I didn't eat junk food post my pilates class.

I don't know why they love Gigi so much. Most clearly don't like her.

Irina impress me. Not a fan but she did good and look nice. Grace look nice too. Finally they had pretty black models, usually they have ugly ones. Really Ashley Graham got to open a segment? Wtf? I did see a lot prettier girls this year. I really like Doutzen but her neck why does it look like that?

Well, it was definitely better than 2015-2018 (and that horrible last year’s thing).

I was really impressed that Gigi opened the show and not one of the OGs…

also shocked with the huge highlights Vittoria had. Loved it! Looove her, riane and imaan!

Bella was INSANE! The greatest nepobaby of them all!

Overall I’d liked better if the stage was elevated/not on the floor (?) and if the models were more energetic…

speaking of Nepobaby. I remember that for the year 2015 when the fans knew that Gigi and Kendall were going to be in the show, they reacted badly, there were a lot of messages saying that they had nothing to do with the show and that they will make it the worst show. But who would have imagined that 9 years later it would be Gigi who would open the show? how times have changed

Okay here are my thoughts:

-The music was GREAT. All of the performers rocked and the remixes were amazing, this was really the highlight for me.

-Overall the cast was great, some girls just didn't do it for me (Paloma, Lila) but some newcomers were amazing (Blesnya, Anthi). Vitto and Imaan are true stars.

- I felt like the previous angels were a bit disrespected. I obviously knew Adriana and Candice would get the most airtime, but I was expecting a nostalgic section maybe with the previous angels and it felt like a missed opportunity to wish them all goodbye as the show moves on.

-The outfits I was okay with them going simpler, but I wanted a little more fantasy. You can tell this is where they lost budget. Don't get me wrong I don't want the tribal ethnic costume fest that Sophia was obsessed with, but I needed a little bit more.

-The wings felt janky and poorly constructed and I can't believe they reused them. Can someone find out exactly how many wings were from previous shows?

-The runway should be elevated and one model should walk at a time!

-Alessandra looked stunning even with one look in the middle of a random section.

Overall I had low expectations so I was pleasantly surprised. Not bad at all!
