Skimmed through the whole thing. Few faces stood out the most to me - Jasmine, Imaan, He Cong, Liu Wen, and Alessandra.

Glad to see Adriana and Alessandra. The two look happy to be back, and they've looked better than ever. Behati looks great too. Can't say the same for Candice and Doutzen. Candice is just... she looks sullen, and Doutzen's probably a case of styling and aging. Don't know what else to say, don't wanna be accused of body/face-shaming kekw. I don't even know what we can say anymore. 

Clearly, the original wings leave a lot to be desired. I think if there's one thing old VS excelled in making, it's large, extravagant wings, though admittedly budget in later years made them look cheap, but not as cheap as what we have. They've clearly rehashed several outfits, or tore them apart to turn into newer looks.

Looks like they're also basing their segments on collections not themes, which is sad but also, in long the run, probably gives designers more room to play with concepts. I personally think Jasmine glowed the hardest here. She looks so damn good. Imaan looks like she was about to burst into tears during her second walk, nice to see she got her wings. 

And what is a Cher performance without her iconic Believe. 

You know what this new management needs? Sophia and her team of artisan designers back, but strictly for wings, no styling nor outfit designs. I think they can fill in the gaps for the new team, but I doubt that will happen since Sophia gives the impression that she's not really into the whole woke fashion scene. Also wondered how would the fashion show looked like if Constance, Sui, Maria(?), Jacq returned, think Constance and Jacq would look happy if they returned.

(Watching the show of them shows 2005 and I’m feeling nostalgic don’t touch me) 

So, just watched the show and overall I liked it. Maybe it's because I missed it so much and was excited about it anyway.

- Gigi opening was dull, but not too bad. You could see she was nervous as fuck and her walk is just not it. Sorry, baby. I can't believe they didn't let Adri open the show. Also, we can say that the Lisa girl opened the show 

- I loved most of the outfits, I think it was more lingerie focused which I liked. I even liked the dress outfits.

- My fave was Irina: her walk, her smile, her attitude, HER OUTFIT!!!!!

- Shame they gave so little screen time to some of the former angels like Jasmine and Josephine, but I feel like all the directing in the Tyla segment was AWFUL. Most of the girls didn't have any screen time of their walk or outfit. 

- Surprinsingly, because I never liked her, Behati looked amazing! Her walk was awesome and she looked great and like she was having fun.

- Carla Bruni?? WTF! Also, did she get her exit wrong at the end of the runway and was supposed to close the segment going back? lol

- Lila Moss had 0,0000000001 seconds of screen time. We love to see it.

- Alessandra baby, they don't deserve you, they never loved you the way they were supposed to. 

- Bella looked like Gigi's mom. Not in a good way.

- Candice body is not human. How can she still look like this.

- What's with the audience? It was DEAD and boring. I hated that they put on so much screaming and cheering on the sound but you could see they were not interacting at all.

- BLEAH to the recycled wings. Really VS? Really?

Overall I really enjoyed it and I feel like it was well made. Considering it was live, there were so many things that could have gone wrong, but it was well exectuted. I feel like this show was a test of how the future shows are gonne be (or if they will do it, and I think they will because the numbers were numbering on the views). Maybe next year we gonna have angels, fantasy bra, swarowski outfits and stuff again.

Just one thing... Was Lily Aldridge in the show?? 🤔

Literally my thoughts @ThePinkDiet. I loved how some new faces did the work, some did it better that veterans.

Good morning, divas! I just watch the show and I... loved it? I honestly think this is the best show they have done since 2006. There's room for improvement, but a solid effort and I hope they do it again next year. It was truly missed honestly. I'm in the minority here but not upset that the former Angels did not get more screentime, truth of the matter is, VS needs to put focus on the future of the brand, not the past so unless you are a brand icon like Adriana, Candice or Tyra then it's fair game you got one outfit; everyone else who got two outfit is one of their current ambassadors + Vittoria who they are obviously trying to sign. I do agree Alessandra was mistreated tho, she's always been undervalued by VS even though she was with them almost two decades.

Here's my breakdown:

The good

- The outfits: I love that this was focused on the lingerie, that it all looked classy, wearable and not like cheap costumes. It's the first time in a very long time that I saw things on the show and I actually want to buy some of the items. It was simple, effective, sexy and all the things I like to see when I think of VS.

- The music: Listen, do I love Lisa? No, but I think her music was good for this. Same for Tyla, the music was a perfect fit for her segment and both women looked gorgeous. Cher is Cher and she can do no wrong; I think all the performers had the right amount of interaction with the models. Whoever did the Chappell x brat remix needs a raise, I hope it gets released somewhere. The rock segment was also great, what a vibe.

- No Pink segment? YES. May it never return.

- The stage was simple but effective, loved it. I also enjoyed the up and down platform thing.

- I loved the overall styling and the fact that they didn't do the exact same look for everyone, it was nice to see some different styling and not just beach waves as they used to do. 

- Barely any shots of the audience. Thank god

The neutral

- Again, I am in the minority here but I don't mind the recycled wings, from a sustainability pov I think it's good. Plus they're gorgeous and there's only so many innovative and creative ways to design wings, I rather see some of the beautiful old school designs than some messy wings...

- The cast: Some hits, some misses but overall it was pretty solid. I like that they didn't over do it with the whole diversity thing, it felt very well balanced and I'm shocked they got heavy hitters like Eva and Carla. Some of the girls are super bad walkers but they also had some really strong ones, so even that was balanced.

The bad

- Gigi's opening was horrendous, you could tell she was about to shit herself. She's gorgeous and I love her but she isn't the strongest walker and Imaan ate her up. Whoever told her that hairstyle she has looks good is a criminal tho. She did look beautiful in her outfits tho.

- A lot of the new wings looked super cheap, straight outta PartyCity I fear.

- Tyra's hair, wow, that was just messy. Plenty other girls had similar hairstyles and it looked beautiful but they absolutely dropped the ball with Tyra.

- Kate and Lila Moss. Yikes, both of them.

Adriana > everyone else. Imaan, THE WOMAN THAT YOU ARE. Barbara, Andrea, Irina, Anthi, Vittoria and Grace were also 10/10. Candice needs to stop whatever she's doing to her face or maybe it's just the hairstyle that didn't do her any favours? idk she just didn't do it for me, still has a 10/10 body tho. Alessandra baby, they don't deserve you, stop coming back to them. Taylor's hair is yet another hate crime. Doutzen looks exactly how she deserves to look. A lot of good newbies, can't remember the names but I liked quite a few of them.

My expectations were so low that in the end it was better than I expected, although very far from the level of the best years. In general I quite agree with @ThePinkDiet.

Things I liked:

- The artists have integrated very well and there were not too many like in other shows.
- The casting has definitely been good.

- I liked that they used actual products.
- Vittoria gives credibility, she is a queen of the industry and her first outfit was also very pretty. Anok is another icon.
- Candice's body is still the best that has been seen in a VS show.
- Adriana's attitude will always be ideal for the show. She is born for this.
- Alessandra keeps serving despite continuing to be mistreated by the brand.
- Imaan and Joan very majestic. Powerful.

- The beauty of Jasmine and Barbara Palvin.
- 👑 IRINA SHAYK 👑. The best far above the rest. The strength, the charm, the sensuality of her walk. If someone wonders what a supermodel is, she is. If VS becomes an annual show again, she can NEVER be missing. She should open the show next year. And if they ever bring back the Fantasy Bra, it should be for her.

Things I don't liked:

- The stage. Too cheap, we need way more magic.

- Gigi's opening. Not hate on her at all, I like her, she seems like a very sweet girl and she has improved a lot over time, you can say that despite being a nepo baby, she has put in a lot of work on her part to improve. But she is definitely not that girl to open a VSFS, she has lacked strength, not a credible opener to me.

- Some girls' makeup looks like it was done by their worst enemy. Doutzen looked older, but the makeup didn't help her at all.

- Jasmine's screen time? They did my girl dirty.

- Adriana's first outfit it's an insult to her career on the brand, my god, that was so bad. How do you do that to the queen?

- Giving Alessandra just one outfit is another insult. Please, can they stop disrespecting her? She is a legend and always delivers.

- Too many ponytails. Candice would have looked even better with a different hairstyle (and less tan).

- The camera work, there were strange angles, some girls posed at the end of the catwalk and instead of being shown from the front they were shown from the side. I suppose the fact that it was live and that they couldn't edit it causes this, like Jasmine's screen time problem.

- I feel like it was too short. I prefer the show to be recorded rather than live so that it allows for better editing and more segments with some content in between.

I think I'd give the show a score of 6 out of 10. It could be better, way better, but the truth is that my expectations were so low that I was also expecting something worse.

Gigi's opening is getting dragged in the comments from the VS instagram, I feel bad for her but it really was very blah, especially for the first show after six years and with people being so hyped by the return of the former Angels. I get that the brand wants to focus on its future and that's Gigi, but they should have not hyped Candice, Tyra and Dri so much then.

I felt disappointed the most about Tyra's moment. I wanted her to be in the actual segments, I feel like she was just squeezed in last minute, even tho I know that is not the case, but that's what it looked like to me!

Those four + Anne V and Gigi. So they can almost do a segment with his exes, give it another five years and they'll have enough girls for it

The problem with Gigi’s opening is that her walk in general is not THAT strong, so when you put heavy wings on top of that… you get a messy walk. You can even see she was struggling when the elevator was going down and her legs were shaking lol

The thing is gigi's walk was not good at all and it looked like wings were too heavy for her. But after her came imaan who actually showed how to do it. Imaan stole the show which made gigi's walk even more mehh.

Imagine this segment: Gisele - Erin - Toni - Vittoria - Anne V - Behati - Gigi - Irina, then you've covered Leo, Bradley, Adam Levine and Tom Brady who have all dated at least two of these women, it would truly come full circle
