^What does 'scunner' mean? I like it!

Well, obviously I have rather a head-start with both spanish and english , so I can't possbily see why you should find it hard! I don't know, maybe it's age - but it's so much harder to hold on to a new language now. Last time was about 8 years ago when I was attempting to learn swedish; biggest problem there was that everybody answered you in english.

Also, when you meet swedish girls they seem to want to show you their record collection. I thought it was probably a euphemism (like "Would you like to come in for a coffee?" :brows: ), but it turned out they were all very proud of their vinyl!

Anyway, yes, japanese. Not only is a different alphabet - it's TWO different alphabets. And lots of intonation. Don't know if I'll ever master writing it either. There's a lot of precision going on...

No time now, have to run from work to Myjava but "scunner" - I´ve read it in Terry´s Pratchett books - it means something like "bastard" in the villain way I love the word

more later and have a great weekend B

So, that is scunner there was also a word "scally-wag" I loved that too

lol about that Sweddish girls but I´ll tell you something - a friend of mine invited the girl he fancied much to "building up the chimney" and she thought "whow, what has he in store for me? :brows: " and then she came and found out that... they were indeed building up the chimney, lol. Now she is his wife and they have a children

Do you take lessons in Japanese or are a self-student? However, I love the sound of it. I watched Final Fantasy IV. Advent children and many anime and japanese movies several times only to hear them talk... seriously, it´s wonderful.

Oh thank you that's all I could wish for.

Si me acuerdo un poquito haha, I had a very good teacher, who was always making us talk. At first it's always hard, but after a long time you'll be able to understand and speak.

Really? We have a teacher who is always making us talk too... I find it difficult, everything springs to my mind in English rather than Spanish

Wow, nice pics . I'm not sure which is the best, but I think my favorite might be the sleeping one . The editorial with the overalls is nice too and her face probably looks best in the candid next to the woman. She has really nice lips and cheekbones and her sensuality seems to have a big of mystery to it which gives her more expression in candid pics than some (remaining nameless) have in editorials.

I think she looks so much better in reality candids. She looks heavenly, not ordinary pretty or ordinary beautiful - but heavenly. Extraordinary beauty.

^Marloes is 100% prime fine. Very high on my list - and, yes, seems to have more of a cult following for some reason? I suppose one should be happy she wasn't the next Katsia or Upton...

^AAARGH! It has happened again. Swallowed my sig, repeated and distorted my post: Misterioso...

Ooooh it´s the black hole attack once again!

And yes, I´m glad she´s not the next Upton or Katsia. She deserves better, and knows better.

I think the bolded are blondes...

Yea, I like blondes..

And you also like Lucia Dvorska

Marloes was one of the first models that got me hooked on BZ..oh yes, that cult Baron is talking about kept on bumping her thread up to page 1..

I've been more interested in Karlie recently..she seems to be getting a lot of work and apparently is having a great run. She looks more beautiful than ever and I think we'll be seeing her around for a long time. She'll mature very nicely.

I also like black hair with blue or green eyes, like Hilary Rhoda. It's just that black hair with dark eyes doesn't usually do it for me, heh. Or Asians other than women like Liu Wen (in general..) And yea, it's tough for me to generalize too. I can't really generalize too much about a model I really like.

As for a certain 'type' of woman I like..I definitely like women that are closer to my age and don't look 16 years old. Women, not girls. I like well-rounded feminine women that are not only grounded in reality but also look like they can rely on themselves emotionally & take things like they are....

A woman with Lara Stone, Karlie Kloss, Dionni Tabbers, Flavia de Oliveira, or Julia Stegner's body is my ideal. Julia and Flavia are six feet tall, and have very long, attractive legs. Karlie is just as tall, and has a lovely neck. Lara Stone & Dioni Tabbers have ideal well-balanced voluptuous bodies in my view.

I could write a little about every model in my list- there's something special about all of them

---

BTW, you like men with dark hair better than those with lighter hair, right? :-)

Men? No. When I was younger I was sooo into tall, dark haired men the type of Colin Farrell... you can guess how FL looks, lol. He is more or less blond, only few inches taller than I am, lol. He is absolutely the opposite of what I´ve always dreamed of. Ok, not absolutely. He has hands and arms I would die for. AND I´m exactly the opposite of the type of girls he fancied, so... it´s fifty fifty

Now... there is no such thing as "a type of men" I prefer. Actually I stopped fancying actors as well (but I still have a huge thing for Colin Farrell, Jason Statham, Edward Norton and Johnny Depp)... it´s weird, because it´s very natural for me to admire woman´s beauty and models, but as for men models or actors, I´m like they are not really "real" for me, they are like pictures painted, nothing more. To dream about them? Why? I have a man at home who I fancy and love and dream about. And, sometimes, I dream about my friends as well

In the real life, I fancy the men company the most. And I love all of them In their company, I feel like a fish in the water. I know them, I fancy them, I protect them whenever I can

I could write a little about every model in my list- there's something special about all of them

same here I could go on and on for ever. I agree that Karlie is gonna be big... she is getting prettier and prettier every time I see her pictures. And I really have a thing for Asian type of women. They are exquisite. Wonderful. Oh

Hey Jennka! I knew you liked Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams, so I guess it stands to reason that you'd be a Red Dwarf fan too - it's just that I didn't make the link until now. Better late than never though, right? Anyway, did you hear there's a new series on the way?

*Makes mental note to check out Karlie's thread more often*

*makes the same note *

Oh, I know, I knooow but I don´t know anything more, do YOU? I love Red Dwarf, I keep watching it almost every day... and some parts know by heart I especially love Rimmer... he is adorable

How about the new series? Are there the same actors? They are so old now, I can´t imagine.

Looks as if all the original cast are coming back - I had heard there was some doubt about whether or not Rimmer was going to be in it, but apparently he's on board now. I know they're filming in front of a studio audience, like in the older episodes, and that they're returning to more simple storylines. It could be awesome.

Doesn't Nastya Kunskaya seem like a blonde Russian version of Fabiana Semprebom? I think they have similar figures and facial impressions...

I hope Michael* doesn't mind me chipping in here but I found a couple of links here and here that give lots of information about the new series. The disappointing bit is that the series won't be premiered here in the UK until September 2012!

Oh, favourite character? Has to be Kryton, he always seems to get the best punchlines.

I still think the first two series of Red Dwarf are far and away the best. Much as I like Kryten as a character, for me the show was at its best when it was more low key, and the Lister/Rimmer relationship was still the main focus of the show. That was also when Holly was at his best.. it wasn't really the same when he came back, and the 'sex change' Holly in between I didn't like at all

One of my favourite episodes is Marooned from the third series - that was another that took it back to mainly just Lister & Rimmer though (Y)

I don't know if you have issues with viruses or not, but I guess I'll just throw it out there. There's this virus pretending to be a virus stopper on my computer called Security Guard 2012 that doesn't let me use the internet or even a word document :| . I thought I had defeated it earlier by restoring my computer to a few days ago, but it just came back shortly after. I was able to defeat it just now the second time by restoring my computer to about a month ago, but I wonder if that means I can go back in time so to speak and avoid it or whether it just makes me relive it . Either way, if you just happen to know anything about that, just let me know .

I simply loved them all I´m this kind of non-critic fan, when I really love something, I love it to the weakest point but still, I missed Rimmer in those episodes where Kochanski was, although I liked her really much, but still, the "Blue" episode was the best from the VII series because it had Rimmer in it

I was also fascinated by the whole progress of the main characters - you could clearly see how Kryten has changed from a stutterer, shy and inferior house robot to a real fully-fledget part of the team with his own consiousness, and the Cat, from a plain simple and foul cat to a quite handy pilot and a "real guy", a real part of the team... Dave from an absolute lazy boy with nothing to do just party and have a fun to...well, not so lazy young man with more responsibility and a thing for adventure and Rimmer I think he really has become a better man in the end. A better friend as well, if you can say such a thing about Rimmer I think it is clearly seen in the episode Gunmen of the Apocalypse, where they head to help Kryten save their ship. They wear a real TEAM in that episode

I do think the show took on a slightly more formulaic feel after Kryten became a mainstay, what with all the 'spacecorps directives' gags and suchlike. I love the balance of sci-fi and out-and-out comedy in the later episodes but many of them are essentially a stream of (very, very good) jokes. My favourites will always be the ones with the most depth to them, and the early stuff was the most real emotionally, dealing as it did with the characters' quirks and insecurities and the hopelessness of their existence. So yeah, seasons 1 and 2 are probably the ones I've watched most often and that I could happily watch again at any time. They're all great though.

OK Jennka, sell me Babara Palvin! I've always thought I might quite like her - and I've kinda put her in a sub-Behati grouping along with Bambi Northwood-Blyth and Rasa Zukauskaite (with Rasa winning out in my affections!): But lately I've been seeing her in people's sets, yours primarily, and and I'm more intrigued...
