I know they want to maximize profit of course (since more people know the artists than the models), but even if I could choose the artist, I don't really care about the music and (even aside from some models being able to work in a flirty handshake here and there) they just kindof seem in the way if not just another obstacle for the models to try not to trip over . I'd prefer ocean sounds or something .

I´d like some jazz and blues and bluegrass to be put in the show - something like Raul Midon Trio. Put some class there, VS...

I was thinking jazz too . Of course, blues and bluegrass probably aren't comercial enough to ever make it. Well, jazz probably isn't either, but at least it has a better shot. Of current artists, I could imagine that Kenny G song going well with it. For your information guys, there are actually 2 Snow White movies in production. The one to which Tran posted the link has Kristen Stewart, Charlize theron, Chris Hemsworth and the other one, "Mirror Mirror" will be released 3 months after the one with K.Stew and it casts Lily Collins (Phil Collins' daughter), Julia Roberts and Armie Harmer.

In the interests of balance, here's the trailer for Mirror, Mirror.

(And unlike Snow White and the Huntsman, I can embed it this time.)

This seems to be a more glamorous and quirky film although it also seems to have a smaller budget (less CGI and it looks a bit studio bound). I suspect people who like one will hate the other. I do have to say that for me Lilly Collins makes a much more winsome heroine than Kristen Stewart.

She definitely needs her own thread.

I download a DVD quality version of the 2005/2006 shows, and wow, 2005 is just so much better than any other VS show I've ever seen. The outfits were nearly all enticing and the women were in the best physical shape possible. They also seemed to have been better prepared for the show- a lot of the models do a stunning expression @ the end of their walk. I think that starting 2006, too many VS models became over-tanned and overly skinny.

I think that the VS franchise needs a entirely new set of women. All of their best girls are either out of the game, in high fashion rather than lingerie shape, or in their late 20s.

She reminds me of Gisele- super tall, strong face & angular body :-)

That might be I´m over with this "commercial" music, pop artists and quick-made-hits... they all dress the same, look the same, sing the same (or don´t really sing at all) and their music has nothing really to say. there are some exceptions, but there´s a very few of them.

^I thought your latin guy, Jorge Moreno, with his little drum in the 2008 show was a nice change. The bagpipes were cool for that (first half anyways) Scottish 'highlands' theme in 2006 too. They have their moments of inspiration - then it all goes wonky...

Yeah. It´s like a glimpses of great idea being put down by someone (idiot probably) that thinks the show won´t get people hooked on until some shitty things are there.

Hmm I think so... I like Charlize a lot and think she will make a great job! As for Kristen maybe she'll prove her acting chops there?

btw, have you heard these rumours about Angelina Jolie playing Maleficient in "The Sleeping Beauty"? I'd be curious to see it but it looks like they're not doing the movie anytime soon
