Don't know, really... most of my friends who had to learn it at school decided to give it up after they were done with school and take other languages now... Spanish is pretty popular among them I don't think I have anyone in my closest circle who likes German a lot-there are people thinking it's the worst sounding language ('people in hell must be speaking German') and others just continue learning it, as they don't want previous years of learning to go to waste. I'd say I'm in the second group-I'd like to become better in German, yet I don't get to use it too often so all in all, it's not as bad as people make it sound but I really don't like how 'organized' it is; when you screw the word order at the beginning of a sentence it's difficult to make it sound right again, indifferently to English, imo.

Maybe he went to rescue his future Baroness Behati from hands of Adam Levine and other modelizers

Ah no, not someone 'interesting' I was buying strawberries and 2 ladies came to stand in a line behind me and that possibly still drunk man was there standing close to the man selling strawberries and said: "see, I came to your stall look what a princess I attracted here"

Oh yes, German is quite complicated when it goes to grammar Spanish surprised me in this one too, although it´s not as strict as German when it goes to the word order (absolutely benevolent, the harder it is to understand lol), but the grammar is pretty hard comparing to English. All the tenses and irregular verbs

I used to hate the sound of German, however in the recent years I´m beginning to like it a lot. My fl is learning German himself right now (ok, not right now, because right now I´m teaching him English because of the job interview) and if I was not to get on Russian the next year, I would take German classes for sure.

So it´s great you´ve decided to continue studying it. Do you try to read books?

that would be the best way to go, if you ask me screw that Adam anyway :persuazn:

lovely! Yeah, drunk men, they always have something to say lol. Oh Lay, are you even blonde? Because I´ve always imagined you blonde but not that bleach blond, but kinda Marloes or Monika blond

No denying Gisele's beauty and sheer sexiness, you did right with that set, very bootiful :brows:

I'd say I enjoy spring when it comes to the heat here (even though it's great almost all year around). Usually more on the manageable side then the summer months when it can get into the high 90's to low 100's here...those days can be down right unbearable. And we don't experience any type of winters such as yours. Its been over 20 years since the last time we had a slight dusting of snow, much too dry and warm here for such weather.

My goodness such wonderful pics Jennka, that cottage is looking absolutely wonderful Love the detail and character your putting into it. The stucco/plaster is a pain in the butt to apply isn't it? After a whole day of carrying a trowel and bucket...your arms feel like jello. Keep up the great work and cant wait too see the finished cottage

And kittehs!

She´s rumoured to be pregnant again I SO do hope she is

But what an ideal conditions to grow vegetables for the whole year - if it wasn´t for the drought.

I´m so glad to hear you like the pics you have no idea how proud I am on my fl - it was his idea most of it, and it looks just so fairy-like!! But it´s not that pain in the butt, fortunately we always do some small amount of the wall, then do something else, then again another part... so you don´t have to plaster a huge area, and you won´t get bored by it.

I´m especially glad for the windows oh, and yes, cutting the grass is our biggest time consumer, as it takes only one fair rain for the grass to grow like crazy so every second weekend we´re cutting the grass

I´ve also planted like 7 trees, I have to take pic of them I´ve made "nurseries" for them so they won´t be attacked from the deer because the deer loves young trees to eat!! Scums!!

No, they´re all girls actually but when they were little I gave them male names because I thought they´re all going to be boys it later showed that they were girls, but we still call them that names

Nice to see you here

It's weird, on the one hand I feel like I shouldn't neglect German, but on the other I feel like I'd like to start learning a new language.... hmmm... what I like about German is that some words are SO similar to English! Although I've heard that for some reason, it's better to learn German first then English (not the other way round) knowing English makes learning German a bit easier. When I was practicing with my friend for the exam, I was surprised at how many different things I can say, because I don't feel comfortable speaking German. Reading is ok, writing too but speaking? Anyway, I feel much more comfotable speaking English, that's for sure.

I am blonde Monika? Which Monika is blonde? Anyway, yeah, my colour is all natural, so no bleach blond... but if I were to describe it, it would be difficult-it changes its shade for summer and in photos, it never looks the same way as in 'real life.'

I'm not really that familiar with her. I like what she's doing in that shoot though, and like I said - shades of Maryna, which is always a good thing

Not really my type in terms of her looks though. Those eyebrows

You might remember I posted some pics of Auguste here a couple of months ago when I found her --> http://www.bellazon....20#entry2871558

She's wonderful

Now I know both of those girl are just stunning. There are so many new wonderful faces, sometimes I feel like I´m missing so much, I can´t keep up with the pace does she have a thread on BZ or TFS?

Oh, Cara and her eyebrows I love them though but the thing I really adore about her is her attitude. She´s so freakin funny, so cool, so ... well, just watch

At 1:28

I know what you mean

She has a thread on both. You should check them out, she's done some great shoots so far!

Cara's eyebrows look slightly less extreme in the video

Love all the pictures too Jennka, it really does look like a beautiful place. And you have deer hanging about too

Are they tame?

Same here, I feel much more comfortable speaking English than Spanish. I guess it wil get better with time? It´s all about insecurity - and well, not being used to speak in that language.

Maybe you should continue practicing German AND start to learn new language as well?

I thought Monika Jagaciak, but now I see she is more light brown than blond. So you´re more Marloes-like blond? That´s a wonderful colour!

You mean the deer? They are very shy, but appear from time to time even when knowing how much damage they can do to the young trees or flowers you try to seed, it´s a precious sight when you wake up, look out from window and bum - they´re there

I adore her attitude the most she is so crazy and free, but also looks like well-educated and smart. Did you like the vid?

Gonna check it now!

Really ??? I have yet to hear of this rumor till now. And if that is the case, CONGRATS to her and her husband...another wonderful addition to the family

Indeed it is, as long as you have access to water during the summer/fall months all should go by smoothly. Thankfully, our water supply is developed well enough to supply the water needs of most Californians 24/7 365.

Heck, I'm very impressed here myself. For someone to have the energy and creativity to build what I'm seeing right before my eyes really says a lot about all your skills. Amazing job once again to all of you So I'm guessing aside from the stucco/plaster job all the heavy construction is done with? LOL, well that's the problem here. I once put up stucco with a friend and we were at it all day. I was completely exhausted by the end of it. Was just one of those jobs that had to be done in its entirety for a consistent look.

I prefer cutting the grass here over the stucco job. Machine moves itself so all I have to do is guide it...what a breeze

Pesky deer, if it's not deer it's something else trying to devour your greenery....oh well, nature at its best eh? Can't wait to see the trees, I'm a sucker for some nice greenery

Oh, I love cutting the grass!! I have recently bough a brush-cutter and I love working with it

Where did you put up the stucco? And yeah, it´s quite exhausting especially if you are to do it for the whole day

I need to take pics this week treeeeeeeeeeeeeeees everywheeere

- don, thanks for the recommendation!

- Jennka, your house is looking better and better! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the work in progress.

BTW, 'Killroy was here' is a very old american trope, but the actual spelling is 'Kilroy'! Where did you find that plaque?

I live in a flat (apartment), not in a house, so, thankfully, I don't need to care about roof

It starts from the wall finish and floor replacement in living room, then it spread to the bathroom transform, and, here we go, I'm compiling a colour palette for the kitchen... It's like a giant snowball

And anywhere, where I can do nothing will do for me for vacation (I'm not a fan of active rest as you ) probably somewhere near the Black Sea...

So, I suppose, wre're both busy with renovations How is it going?

Finally someone noticed! I´ve almost thought that Americans have forgotten about Kilroy

I did not find that plague, I´ve actually made it fl has read Catch-22 from Mr.Heller and it was mentioned there... I searched for its origin on google and just fell in love with the whole story. So I created the plaque to carry on the history and make it international even in Slovakia - with a minor flaw of course, which is a double L instead of a single L I´ve read that there are various versions of Kilroy around the world - "Foo was here", or "Chad" for the drawing... and, as there is never anything "right or straight" in our cottage, Killroy with double L was made

And thank you for the praise I really feel proud on the work there, and finally it´s beginning to look good

A deer in your garden means plague for the young trees but yes, it´s still very lovely sight one just has to enjoy. There are moments you feel like a part of the nature, and it´s precious. Sometimes when we sit outside, you can hear the males barking. Magical
