Lack of interest I still try to keep up with knowing who graces major Vogue covers every months and check runway shows but I'm not as passionate about it as I used to be. Anna Jagodzinska doesn't work as much as she used to, Anja Rubik is everywhere but I've never been a fan plus she's like a celebrity here now... good for building her 'empire' but every time I feel like I am about to like her she says something stupid not 'Paris Hilton stupid' but eyeroll worthy enough.

btw, Eniko looks superb in your icon there's something about her that makes her look like from another decade....

Exactly! She has this wonderful looks of "out of this time" woman! And her body - whow.

I don´t recall ever seeing an interview with Anja, so you say she´s not that "witty"?

Well... no I´m just as lazy as you these times - dunno why! But fl works like hell still... I just need to start myself again and continue in working. Maybe I lack some inspiration, who knows.

Maybe it´s the weather how is the weather at your place?

No, definitely not not witty-she's pretty intelligent I'd say... just she comes off as annoying and pretentious sometimes. Like around the time when she was in our edition of Next Top Model she said she most definitely doesn't have any speech defect (and she DEFINITELY has lisp) and even if she had one, that tv channel wouldn't hire her? Or that it's not the problem if they hired her? Something like that, plus that in English you can't hear her lisp... hmm don't want to misquote but that annoyed me, mainly because I am way too irritated by the number of badly-articulating people on tv also, b**** please, you were hired because you are (one of) the best Polish top models...

Oh, I get your point It´s pretty new to me because she always seemed to me as a more humble person than pretentious - but well, you really don´t know the people until you see them in their own country I recall some Slovak models that were so humble in interviews during fashion days in Milano or New York, but when they get home, somehow they started to act nosy and "I´m better than you" like.

But, well, I do understand them a little - because here in Slovakia, people do not know them, the girl can be pretty famous in the foreign countries but people here just don´t give a damn - and THEN, the girl get some publicity in Slovak news and suddenly all the Slovaks are like "She´s our girl!! She´s from Slovakia!" same with sportsmen... until they achieve something big no one supports you - and then suddenly everyone wants to take the picture

Well, I still may be mistaken, you know-unless you get to meet a particular person, one's perception of it is only due to her public appearance. And my 'complaints' about her are rather minor things, but grouping all these minor things together=annoyance. Or I remember she also respond to the 'criticism' in the Internet that she always poses with her lips half-open saying it's not ture, or even if it is, the photographer knows what pictures to choose? I don't remember exactly.

Anyway, I'm disappointed in my beloved Anna J since the talk-show interview with her from about May last year-ever since I watched it, I can't think of her as highly as I used to... which is strange, but then I noticed that some models sound incredibly intelligent and level-headed in print interviews, but as soon as you see them speaking on tv, their manners it's... like, how can it be the same person, you know?

That first pic of Dar... why do I see Clara Alonso again.

As for the interviews, sadly that Anna J video that disappointed me wasn't some kind of 'live' thing, but one recorded in a studio, so I guess it could take many takes?

It looks like you're right . I knew you'd know .

We know we can count on Layla, she'll come through just like before

She knows designers and fashion week, like Jennka knows unicorns

Things I've Learned About Slovakia

10. They have a lot of models relative to the population (no particular reason to know).

9. They have a women's basketball team (should have known).

8. That it was once part of Czechoslovakia (should have known).

7. They have a more distinctive look than a lot of other European countries (no particular reason to know).

6. That there are a lot of Hungarians there (no particular reason to know).

5. That (from what you say) there are still gypsies there (no particular reason to know).

4. The gypsies there are often on welfare (no particular reason to know).

3. The Constitutional Court of Slovakia is the highest judicial power (no particular reason to know).

2. Its cold there and there are a lot of mountains (probably should have known).

1. That gypsies aren't make believe after all (probably should have known).

^ aww the poem!

I wouldn't say Slovakia is cold though... I mean, of course it's colder than eg. Spain but it's not like the temperature is always lower than 20 Celcius degrees.
