No, nothing like a plum wine. I think you call it "the spirit"? I know we were talking about it with Baron some time ago, but I can´t recall the name he used for it it´s a strong alcohol derived from plums. Or peaches. Or any fruit, lol.

I think I may have befriended a deer . Well, they don't eat from my hands by any means, but we had a long stair down and it didn't run away instantly .

^You are brothers now. One day, in your hour of need in some troublesome forest-type situation, that deer will come to your rescue. He will want no thanks, you will just nod to each other and the understanding will be there - you both just know...

Sounds good to me . I have a feeling that likewise I'll be out with a friend with a rifle and right when he's about to pull the trigger, I tilt it upwards and it shoots into the air instead. While he's asking me why I did it, we share brief eye contact before he runs away .

^That's exactly the scenario I was envisaging. I think it could make a perfect Disney film!

And the song! Please take a gun & shoot me in the head and burn what's left of my brain!

Other than that it's a really cute video :wub2: A little bit of tenderness in this harsh world.

Has anybody here watched the earlier VS fashion shows? 2004, 2003, etc.?

I d/l'ed VS fashion show 2003. Without seeing the whole thing, which is something I will do...I like it- and it's more along the lines of VS 2005 rather than 2011. It's less extravagant, but I feel like they're actually modeling lingere with top models at their prime. Come 2011, and VS has lost their way with the outfits. What do you guys think of the earlier shows? I think I'll get all of them.

^The past is a foreign country, they do things differently there..!

Aside from the lack of backstage footage (which, apart from the furious cutting, I really rather enjoy) the older shows are a far better watch, Yes, it's lingerie, with accoutrements sure - but not silly costumes. And, get this, you get to see 'top models at their prime' actually walking the runway in it's entirety - radical I know!

Maybe the VSFS '05 was a victim of it's own success, or the enforced absence of a '04 show (after Janet Jackson's "nipplegate" fiasco) meant more people paid attention to it - but it set the template that is now strictly adhered to, but more overblown each time? It's a great show (the best in terms of outfits/themes I think), but for my money '03 is sexier and better paced as a model-watching affair - the perfect balance of the former and latter styles of show.

More new Red Dwarf for you Jennka! The second one's my favourite, though the video's title does spoil the gag a bit.

I looked at screencaps of the older shows and I got to say that 2003 and 2005 were the best ones. 2006 was good, but not as good as 05'. The earlier shows were bare-bones and rather tentative. Also, there were many models that I never saw before like Yfke Sturm. But they've since been out of the top model limelight.

03' is essentially 05' 'lite', with less garnish but with more flavor and style than any of the prior VS shows. I think it's a case of the budgetary imperative again- they have spare money to blow on costumes and setpieces. And they just spend it somewhere even though... in this case....more is not better.
