Is everyone there in the army, or do they just love camo gear?

Recent talk about Disney reminded me that you were a big fan. Have you seen this film?

It's not made by Disney (although the English language DVD does seem to be marketed by them) but I thought it might be your sort of film.

I´m sure it´s from Hayao Miyazaki I absolutely love his movies, or Ghibli studio films but no, I haven´t seen this one yet, but thank you for a tip

I loved Mononoke Hime, Sen to Chihiro, Howl´s Moving Castle... and Grave of the Fireflies

Yes, it is an early film (1989) by Hayao Miyazaki. More of a family film than later works like Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away. Have you noticed, by the way, his hero's are almost invariably female. Makes a refreshing change.

^I love a bit of Studio Ghibli too - maybe it's the massive cultural differences, but I find them magical (and baffling) in a way that Disney haven't since I was very young? My Neighbour Totoro is my favourite:

By the, by the way, is that Behati Prinsloo in your avatar? It really blows away the myth that women don't look sexy in glasses.

The real thing may not have been quite so funny, although a few of the guests outfits did make me laugh, but it was far more spectacular and more beautiful and romantic too.

I think this link gives an idea of the scale of the event.

I´ve seen Toy Story 1 and 2, but not this one. It really looks great so little time to watch movies lately... haven´t been in cinema for ages
