Better than I expected. Nice to see when a franchise can maintain a certain level

Hmmmmmm..that's a toughie. I'd say it cracks the top 10, but not top 5.
What is the best Marvel movies in your opinion?

Not sure if I watched this particular cut but I watched one of them and liked it at least much more than Star Wars 😄
Godfather I for me is much more rewatchable than Godfather II.
Blade Runner Final Cut was much longer than the original film- somehow there's been no other 1980s cyberpunk style film that is anywhere as memorable since then. The Cyberpunk 2077 game & Deus ex franchise borrowed a lot from it.

I thought it was from the 80s😅 One of my all time faves. It was interesting enough for me to ignore the slowness. Although, I speak as a person who has endured the slowness of Too Old to Die Young tv show lol
Yeah the special effects for 2001 A space odyssey was massively beyond its time, and it still looks good today. That's why the film looks a lot more recent than it is.

This animator did a great job- I would say it's better than any of the content in Alien: Covenant and is along the lines of what is in the upcoming Alien film.
In looking at the new Alien film trailer it is apparent to me that it is massively influenced by the greatest Alien Game (Alien: Isolation). The sets, everything looks like its directly ported from that world.

LOVED it 😍 The chemistry between Rachel Weisz and Vincent Perez is insane
Sometimes I felt like an intruder in their intimate scenes. Even though it was already intimate when they just looked at each other 💥

The OG is a classic, this one was more like a cute spinoff. Perhaps not silver screen worthy, but def streaming worthy.
Daisy Edgar-Jones was absolutely adorable.

My favorite acting from him is from his Shakespearean roles
Henry V & Hamlet (best I've seen personally)

Loved it. Especially Joshs performance. Movie 3 out of 5, Josh 5/5 I think it's one of his best perfomances ever
All of his facial expressions directly into the camera? 😱
That was A game man. Also still get the chills from the ending scene
I never really watched a trailer so I kinda expected something completely different. But I was surprised in a very good way. Def one of Shyamalans better movies imo and def worth a re watch for all the little details. It's also really not fair looking like this, charming everyone's pants off and being a serial killer secretly 😚
You bad big man with shiny shiny hair 😈🤩

My friends saw it and said the same thing

Liked it much better than I expected 😄 @Lilja K LOVED the aesthetics/soundtrack of the movie.
Also this scene? ![]()

I'm stunned how much I liked the dynamic/chemistry between Freeman and Jenna. Through her eyes I almost believed he's attractive. Blaming her convincing acting for that 😄
Would have liked the movie even better if she wouldn't gone nuts towards the 2nd part of the movie and if it wasn't implied that she lied about their relationship.

They literally carried the whole movie, especially Jenna. I'd also like the script to be a little different. Heroine shows sociopathic and narcissistic traits in the 2nd half, I'd rather she remained just an outsider teen prodigy.

Pretty sure not a movie for everyone but I really liked it. Margaret Qualley and Joe Alwyn are so hot 😻

In dedication of his yesterdays birthday I re watched
...still felt too long overall.

The ending...![]()

This movie was like a mixture of Alien, Aliens, Alien: Isolation, and Alien 4.
Even the ending was like Alien 4.
IMHO they should have left the Prometheus influences out. I see Prometheus as another concept entirely.
I like the Alien creature as something more simple- just a space predator like in the comics. We don't need to know about their origins other than how they originated from some planet.. and certainly they don't need to be a something made in a lab.
The Starcraft games (inspired by Starship troopers) did it the best - made them a part of the Zerg ecosystem.
The comics have them as an inter-galactic infestation, like the Zerg/Starship troopers that the Colonial Marines/humanity is struggling against.

Not really what I expected (or maybe exactly what I expected?) However I don't get the appeal about the 2 male actors.
