Yeah, I thought so

I've worked there since the end of summer. So, quite a while now. I don't wanna bitch and moan about my job, but I do think that it's rather difficult. It involves an intense amount of multitasking and we're always so busy. I enjoy myself at work when I'm working with a lot of people that I love, because then its fun. But unfortunately, we're often understaffed or I'm working with certain people who get overwhlemed easily and yell at everyone. I hate those people. I also generally hate customers. That sounds really harsh but, when I've been working for 9 hours ,I hate customers until they give me a reason to like them (being particularly nice or funny.) If someone asks me how I am, I will immediately give them free stuff. But people aren't usually like that. Normally, they're rude and demanding and they don't appreciate anything that we do, and I hate that. Also, I make $6.75 an hour there :| Which is really really really bad. So yeah, let's just say that as soon as I turn 16 I hope to be out of there

^ Really?

I must confess, I love the smell of smoke more than anything in the world Particularly cigarette smoke.

Everyone thinks its disgusting, but if I say "You smell like smoke" to someone I usually shuffle closer to them

actually that was just my reaction to that Edita pic

Oh. Scratch what I said, then

Well fruit juice counts as fruit!

I've actually shown my friend Terry World before, so he's definitely been exposed to hardcore work by Terry Hes just not as used to it I'll check out all of those shoots later. Probably tomorrow. Because I'm quite busy at the moment You have a spectacular memory for these sort of things :| I used to be like that, but I fell off the fashion bandwagon about a year ago when I went away for dance Maybe I'll get back into it during the summer Hopefully

ok, let it be, but they weren't fresh made juices, so

Well, why tomorrow, if I can help you now

&btw Idk why I have this memory. For such "stupid" things, instead to have memory for science

EDIT: can't find Nunhead now

Aha yeah, they're probably loaded with sugar. But shhhh

Thanks for the help! You can remember these things better

than science because you actually care about them

That's a beautiful ed, btw. I've seen it before and I actually have

a few of the pictures saved onto my computer. I love her hair!

The funny thing is, lately there are lots of commercial of juices with no sugar here, and all juices (ok, not all, but most of) I drink have sugar but, I also drink tea quite often, without sugar.

tell it to my parents

And this ad by Terry is TOO MUCH I think

ea it very good for you though. Oh, the amount of anitoxidants! Especially rooibos tea But I'm biased as a South African, we think that rooibos is the cure for everything

Good point Its good though, that you can absorb so much information about something that you're genuinely interested in. That way you'll be happy and more successful in life. Who cares if you can't remember science, you're probably not going to need most of it anyway! What do you plan to do, as a career?

I don't think its too much But that's just me. I think I've been grossed out by... One or two? Terry photos before. They're both in Terryworld and I was only grossed out the first time I saw them. Now I'm just like

^ She's beautiful

These are more haunting than explicit. I can definitely see how they

could be controversial, but they aren't even remotely erotic, imo

I love the colours and textures in this photo:

I like green tea, but I haven't drink it for...quite a long time now

As a career? Oh my God, I should know by now, and I'm still not sure thankfully, it's more of a thing I have different plan for everyday, not that I don't know at all, like some time ago I would love to go to Africa one day, to live there for a few years.... But my whole family says I am too precious to go there, it's too much of a danger for blue-eyed blonde (what an argument ) and if I want to help people, I can do it here also And my parents used to work in Iraq (not as volunteers thought), and they say such things (well, it was back in 80's, but I don't think it was much better then, Saddam was still alive :| )

How these photos looked like?

I don't like green tea, actually. I think it tastes like soap

Oh I see. Well, it's good to want to help people. Honestly, it won't be too hard for you in Africa. I mean, you'd get to stay in a hotel and you could leave whenever you want to.

Well, in one of the photos, a woman was dressed up as pheonix with a mask, beak, many feathers etc. And she was naked and she was pushing gold balls out of her vagina. That was too much for me simply because there was a lot of gold glitter on her twat and it looked gross and dirty :yuckky:

In the other there was an asian transgendered man naked. Flaccid penises gross me out & his was just

There might have been some others, but I'll make notes of them the next time I look through Terryworld

That's tough. Definitely, those kind of jobs are really tricky as there's so much you have to do and think about, and all under the gaze of the waiting customers. From when I was sixteen until a couple of years ago I used to work minimum-wage too in my holidays and spare time as a hospital waiter. As you say, the people you work with really make a big difference. When I worked with the calm, vaguely hard-working, nice people it was great fun, but when I was on a shift with other lazy or crazy people it was horrible . . . Well, it wasn't that bad , I would just talk to the patients - most of them were comedy! I found that it's really variable the way that people (I guess in my case patients and in your case customers) treat you; some people are lovely and others are so rude and disrespectful. I used to find it really frustrating when they treated me like I was stupid or were rude to me purely because I wasn't working in the classiest or best paid job and was kind of subservient to them. <_<

I kind of miss my old job, even though I didn't really like it at the time.

Is that in Canadian or US Dollars?

Ooh, what are you hoping to do afterwards?

Oh I know exactly what you mean! That was a pretty good description of it

That is in Canadian Dollars. And its considerably below minimum wage

(Min. wage is $8.50, here )

I would love to work at a record store and there is one near where I live, so

that'll be the first place I apply. Besides that, I'd like to work in retail, too.

Record shop would be cool. What music are you into? Apart from Bob Marley and Pink Floyd.

Oh my, that comes to £3.70 or so an hour! That's hugely sub-minimum wage here. I used to get £5 or £6 per hour, and I thought that that was bad. I suppose that Britain's a bit more expensive, but that still pretty harsh.

weird, I hadn't seen your post when I posted mine....

Talking about wicked....

is Wicker Park a place near Vancouver or is it a part of your city?

'Cause a few weeks ago, when I was watching ski-jumping competition, they were either saying it's in Vancouver or Wicker Park....
